No customer service Australian distributor knows nothing no response from head office overseas – No customer service given: when I called there was a bizarre recorded message of music the Australian distributor didn't even realise was occurring… Read more
(now rectified due to my advice). He also knows very little about the products thus can't respond to questions, telling me I needed to email head office overseas even though I was trying to buy during a sale - so missed out on saving hundreds of dollars thus a complete waste of my time and effort.
Regardless I've now had no response from head office overseas for a week, pathetic. Main reason I was asking questions was due to discovering Blueair's "HEPASilent Technology" is just using the Hepa recognised filter brand name but adding 'silent' to it which means it's not actually a Hepa filter at all - as I read in a review (google that statement and you should find the review).
Also because they advertise the Blueair brand is Swedish but reports claim most parts are made in China, and research indicates that does indeed seem to be the case despite this 'Swedish' made claim. I asked what percentage % of this appliance exactly is manufactured in Sweden compared to what is manufactured in China but can't seem to get a timely response, if I ever get one.
I also asked if it's true I have to buy filters every 6 months to keep my warranty even if I've been away (I travel and could be away for 6 months) so haven't used it and the filter has not been used and is not dirty at all - but I have to pay a lot of money to replace it regardless just to keep my warranty, and if that is indeed the case - how does Blueair think that's reasonable and fair?
Without a response I can only give Blueair 1 star and recommend everyone stay away from them.

Expensive junk – Expensive piece of useless junk. I bought it as it rated fairly on Choice. That was a mistake. We have a lot of dust and pet dander, but according… Read more
to this machine the air quality is "good", even though you can see dust in the air. My daughter started sneezing after the machine was used on full power for 2 hrs in her room. It seems to just blow dust around.
Also, the design is terrible. It has no handle and is a pain to move. The fan speed "buttons" are hopeless and often don't work and incredibly hard to see being so tiny. Avoid!
