Faulty fridge shelves had to chuck the fridge away – Purchased from good guys Bundaberg, Beware only 12 months warranty on the parts to the fridge not 3 years manufacturer warranty like they say.… Read more

Disgusting the fridge was purchased in 2021. Just like others have stated. Only this year the fridge shelves have started to completely crack and become broken. Making 2 shelves not useable at all. I’ve just had to buy this fridge again with glass shelves because this particular model has been discontinued due to the shelving issue now the new fridge has glass shelves. hopefully we will have better luck. 3 years warranty only covers the fridge motor and Compressor. Our old fridge lasted 20 years and it was plastic shelves also the white metal shelves we have had known people to have these and lasted. By the time we had added up how much the cost to replace fridge shelves it wasn’t worth the worry. It was going to cost more than what the fridge is worth. $60 per shelf. Spoke to customer service who got very aggressive and rude when I told them I will report the company to fair trading decided to hang up twice. Waited 20 minutes to talk to someone each time when I questioned them about the fridge and told them it’s against consumer law rights to be selling such poor quality products got hung up on and told we will not be replacing them. Without payment. The good guys in the end become quite rude when I requested a new fridge to rectify and under goodwill. Got very rude as well.

good, cools drinks etc very quickly and have had no problems with it. stock My only irk with it is when I have it turned down low on cool it does tend to get a quick ice build up in the freezer area but it only took a few hours for a full defrost and a quick clean and everything went back into it and have had no problems since. Good size little fridge very handy for the extras.

kitchen bench. Door fits a 3ltr milk. Ours are super cold, and will freeze items at the back if you're not careful. Only drama we've had is that they are not frost free and require defrosting every few months or so, the drain hole in the fridge can ice up if blocked by a rogue sauce bottle. But worth it for the full size practicality. Would buy again.

found were not too positive , but all of them were on earlier models so I decided to give it a go . Bought for aesthetic reasons which it delivers on , love the very large size of this model The large fridge space is great , inside the lay out and the transparent draws make it easy to see everything The door has 4 shelves giving lots space for jars The freezer being like an oversized ice box is not big enough for me , but I bought it for the fridge space and knew I’d still need my garage freezer. But It has a handy door shelf and a dividing shelf too . The electrical cord is quite short , so I needed an extension lead as my socket is nearer top of space . Overall very happy with my purchase

and the inside temp of fridge was 25 degree's and the outside cover was alarmingly hot. I lost all confidence in the fridge and returned it to HN (to their credit they issued a refund). On another note, the thermostat switch is Very loud then it clicks on and off. It can be heard all through the house so light sleepers looking for a 'heater' should think again.

OK budget bar fridge/ freezer but with a few short comings – OK bar fridge at good price but with some short comings. The fridge is compact and lightweight for portable use and comes with a freezer compartment.… Read more

Adjustable shelving allows multiple storage options and the inclusion of a light is an added feature for a budget product. The freezer component while not big will quickly chill up a couple of drinks and will keep ice frozen but not food storage for any length of time. The major shortcoming is the freezer/chiller flap, it is a flimsy plastic hinged cover which is subject to breakage when the compartment requires defrosting ( which is often). The manufacturer actually give themselves up on this by stating a disclaimer in the warranty by stating “it is not covered under warranty as susceptible to breaking due to excessive ice build up.” Good luck with that exclusion under Australian consumer law.!!! Anyway for a few dollars more a aluminium flap may overcome this problem and then you would have a pretty good value package.

our fridge or other freezer. If you pull on the door, the entire freezer moves. You have to use two hands, one to hold the unit and the other to open the door. OR, use your thumb as leverage, which is not great if you have hand problems/pain, or for a child. The drawers do NOT 'glide' on tracks, they rest on shelves. Therefore, they are sometimes awkward to pull in and out when full. The drawers can be removed totally if you like just shelves. I'll be interested to see how much ice, if any, accumulates over time.

I think this is actually a pretty good fridge - having owned it for 3 days. BUT – The good points - It's a TWO star effiency rating, basically due to it's thicker insulation - which is better than most refrigerators. However I can… Read more

clad it with extra styrofoam sheet to ramp it up to 3.5 or 4 - over all the areas, except for where it dumps the extracted heat.

It's a good size to store medical supplies etc.

BUT I have some pet hates, namely manuals from China that are printed in MICRO-FONTS of around 1mm high or less, and this has a paper manual in it, that has about 90% vacant space on the sheet and and it's written in a font that is about 1.1mm high.

It's an owner / operators manual - there is NO excuse for using such FINE fonts - especially when there is PLENTY OF UNUSED and WASTED PAPER SPACE, where a sinze 11 or 12 point font would easily fit.

The other issue is that I buy a refrigerator, to keep specific products at or around a fairly constant and pre-set and controlled temperature.

Now the owners manual states that it has this temperature range: Temperature Range: 0-10°C

AND the temperature control knob inside it, is marked as 0 to 5. It is not marked or scaled to degrees Celcius. However with 0 as OFF and 5 as the coldest, one COULD reasonably deduce that with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 = 8*C, 6*C, 4*C, 2*C and 0*C.

This being the case, why isn't the internal control knob / thermostat, rated in *C, instead of numbers.

AND why don't all fridges come with proper refrigerator type temperature gauges, so that you can dial the temperature in?

One of the thing with MODERN quality control and mass production, it seems the the days of arriving at the accurate thermostat have long since passed and control of the temperature by a rated temperature instead of a number, and thus setting the refrigerator to a temperature instead of a number out to be the norm, and not the thing to avoid.

So anyway ALL refrigerator manufacturers NEED to come clean on their temperature settings to TEMPERATURE and not a number.

A refrigerator is a product designed to extract heat energy from it's interior and the products stored in the interior. Medical supplies need to be typically stored above 3*C and below 8*C.

Many foods are best stored at 3*C to 5*C.

A refrigerator is a comprehensive package - of the cooling unit, the regulation of that temperature to a narrow range, and the owner operator maual for the device.

The three stars were awarded for essentially a good refridgerator, with no means to identify the temperature the goods inside are being stored at, and for supplying an unreadable manual that is essentially a huge waste of space with nothing the wonderful Chinese micro-fonts on it.

Succeeding on only ONE out of THREE primary issues, is no longer acceptable.

Instead of going for the cheapest smallest temperature control knob, how about all knobs come with a pointer and a scale of 0*C to 10*C around them. The domestic $2 house thermometer, works well to dial the "NUMBER" scale in - but people really ought not to have too. It's a REFRIGERATOR - it removes heat energy - and the final temperature is WHAT it SHOULD SHOW.

Anyway if this lasts 20 + years, I will be pleased, but the lack of reasonable temperature control and a worthless manual are it's major downfalls.
