and the lady there didn't even offer an apology and told me I could use the BBQ regardless. I told here the weight of the BBQ rests on the castor seats so I wasn't going to do that. I was told it would take 7-10 working days to get the parts to me. A disappointing experience for a BBQ that costs over $2k. Please take note, these BBQ are made and packaged in China. At least with the $400 Bunnings BBQ if something is missing you can go back there and swap it out.
I had invited friends over for a BBQ this long weekend but will instead show them a BBQ in pieces and tell them not to buy a Crossray.

in Australia at the time in the mid 1970s. I use it often with a mixture of heat beads and charcoal, I always cook my whole leg ham on it and my Turkey every Christmas for the most perfect and juicy meat ever, and I've got 16 BBQ plus a Webber Q, and this kettle is the best by a mile. Now I'm looking at buying a new one, I don't really know why, but they seem to have a few improvements added over the years, then I will be able to cook my meat on one and my veges on the other at different temperatures. It's a win win for me. Well done Webber, keep up the great quality. Photos Christmas 2021. Brilliant.

I recently purchased a Weber Genesis EP-335 from the Weber Moore Park SupaCenta store and wanted to share an honest account of my experience. … Read more
Firstly, the sales service was good. When my wife and I visited on 12 November, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us confidence in the product. The store layout is great with a wide range of BBQs well displayed, and our initial interaction left us with a really positive impression of Weber.
I was originally told the store would price match, but when I returned on 28 November with a verified 15% offer from another Weber store, I was suddenly told they only match up to 10%. This inconsistency was disappointing and felt like a step back from the professionalism shown earlier.
Then, while free delivery was offered, I was told it wouldn’t be available for more than two weeks. Needing the BBQ sooner, I had to transport it myself, including removing and reinstalling child seats and wrestling a very heavy box (60-80kg) out of the car and into my backyard.
On emptying the box I spent hours trying to locate the bolts/screws to enable assembly. Weber Customer Support were terrific and make sure that I was supported. I have to take my hat off to the Weber Customer Support function who went above and beyond.
The Weber Genesis EP-335 is not an easy BBQ to assemble, so if you don't use the Weber service to assemble it for you, be prepared to spend a significant amount of time doing it yourself.

well-executed stove, especially if you're hoping for efficient heat output in cold conditions.
The most frustrating design flaw is the chimney size in relation to the combustion chamber. The flue is simply too small to create sufficient draw, leading to smoke backing up and pouring out of the lid whenever the door is opened, or worse, causing the fire to choke and go out altogether. This seriously undermines its functionality as a stove, where clean burn and controlled airflow are essential.
When used as an open fire pit (with the door and top open), it’s passable, although it’s very heavy, bulky and expensive compared to a flat pack pit. The heat output is underwhelming and in cold temperatures, it struggles to radiate enough warmth to be genuinely useful unless you're basically hovering over it.
Overall, the Ozpig looks the part and may appeal to those who like the aesthetic of a metal box with legs and a chimney but in terms of actual stove performance, it’s a bit of a letdown. If you’re after reliable heat or practical cooking in a variety of conditions, there are better designed alternatives out there.
Looks good, built tough, slick marketing but let down by poor airflow and limited heating performance.

failsafe. Yeh, I’ve heard that before. My research kept coming back to this BBQ, so bought it, the mid sized 47cm version. Best decision I have made! This thing is amazing! Two cooking shelves, real strong smokey flavour which i like, (depending on your smokey wood preference which is adjustable), Set and forget, best Brisket ever! Simple and easy to use, utilising the same BBQ Bricketts, in the "Mignon Method, two circular rows of Bricketts and the hot chimney coals in the middle. Temperature is consistant at approx. 205-215 degrees (6-7hours), smoking with up to 4 lumps of wood (2 hours), then continue for a further 6 to 8hrs. Wow, what we have eaten out of this SMC is simply amazing! This BBQ is easy to keep clean due to its enamel coating, empty the ash and thats it! Love it’s simplicity and reliability! I use it on a regular basis, at least once per month. I have cooked all types of meats in my WSM, without a hitch. I have two other Weber Charcoal BBQ's.

cooked a cheese cake and puddings also great. But when cooking a steak, no good on the aluminium grill ( doesn't hold the heat to give the steaks that score makes ) the burners don't let out enough heat like the old one's. l cook my steaks and sausages in a skillet on the side burner. Also on the side burner the rack where the pot sits is too low on the flame, hard to regulate heat ( I raised the rack about 15mm perfect) The fire box is black enamel easy to clean, love it. The out side is stainless steel and also easy to clean ( I use a anti corrosion lubricant called Inox that you can buy from any boat shop ) The glass domes you must clean them after every cook otherwise the will stain and very hard to get off. I love my Ziegler and brown it looks great as a outdoor kitchen and cooks the the way I like it.
