Best Bakers Delight Breads
A dessert companion to the bread: Chia and Fruit Loaf : Bakers' Delight – This is not the wholemeal Bakers Delight loaf, but the Chia and Fruit loaf. ..and alternative dessert companion to the Chia Wholemeal bread. Wow,… Read more
It is like a fruitcake without the spice. It is very rich with fruit and delicious. It is sold in half loaf sizes, and seeded with the chia seeds, or as an alternative, sunflower seeds. It is a sweet bread, and you'd not think of putting butter on it. It is too delicious for that.
Yes, I could snack on it and eat it in no time, and it is a little expensive, compared to breads, but this is a delicious treat, made of natural fruits and seeds, based on a wholemeal loaf. However, if you are a coffee and cake person, well, you get the whole loaf for a taste of something in a coffee shop, so it is a matter of perspective.
You will get all your fibre needs in a couple slices, and there is no added sugar and plenty of taste ( for a person who is not keen on fruit cake). It is dense with fruit, no ordinary sultana loaf- but a true heavily packed fruit loaf.
Best berry and white choc scone is at Rosebay – I love this scone very much. But the best one is made at Rosebay bake delight. Show details

thought she had made it, she sliced it up and had it with butter and coffee, it was beautiful. Really nice with the apples and walnuts making it not so overly sweet. Bread is very soft. Doesn't contain preservatives so its not such a bad treat for kids either. Nice to add to a school lunch or husband's work lunch. Not too expensive. I can't really think of anything.
Absolutely delicious! Perfect mix of coffee and chocolate. I only bought one hot cross bun in case I didn't like it. It is now my favourite flavour. I ate it plain, straight from the bag and it was fresh and yummy. Show details
Usually good but not this time – Bought a pack of the small ones which were dry and hard on top. Disappointed as the large ones are good. Expensive. Show details

good to be used as rolls for lunch, especially for children as they are quite small.
They are a little bit on the pricy side but i find that they are worth the cost as they are very soft and we are not big fans of crunchy bread rolls.
I like it that you can buy them at any Bakers Delight and you get the exact same standard of product. Great taste, nice and soft I find that they are great the day you buy them but stale by the next day so only buy them the day you want to consume them
Thanks Guys great pizza, baked perfectly and great toppings – Really enjoyed the pizza we had yesterday, baked perfectly and quickly delivered. Will recommend locally. certainly be back for more.

Why dooes this product smell like chemicals? – This product smells like chemicals, so much so the kids have stopped eating them. they smell like everything other than chees and bacon, gross! everything at bakers delight is shrinking and getting rediculousy expensive!
One of my favourite Bakers Delight breads – Although I buy other types of bread from Bakers Delight, their Pane di Casa is the one that I buy the most (apart from their Chia and Fruit Loaf). … Read more
Pane di Casa isn’t quite up to the standard of a handmade loaf from an artisan bakery, but it is still a quality loaf of bread that I love to eat. Pane di Casa has a much better taste and texture compared to the imitation sourdough breads sold in the supermarket.

It saves me money, rather than going to a cafe and buying cakes and drinks, they're filling, and a treat. I usually can't resist buying one for myself too! They're also very filing so we often find we eat about half and save the rest for later.
Great Treat! – I love this Bakers Delight Cheese and Bacon Twisted Delight! Its a great treat for me and my son and we buy them if we have visitors coming over. Tasty Expensive Show details

find a comparable bread cob anywhere else so this makes it so easy. They are always crunchy and fresh and i have never had a bad experience. I find that if it is a busy time of year like christmas or easter it is best to order them from the store in advance as they sell out fast. I have missed out once because they are just so popular. good product, good price

I did not receive a receipt so I cannot answer the later questions in this review. This is normal practice. Not that I mind because I have not had any problems in this regard with BD.
I may as well use sliced bread – We bought some burger buns thinking that the Bakers Delight product would be superior to super maket buns. So wrong. We've been BD customers for… Read more

These buns are so ridiculously thin that cutting them in half is quite difficult. When sliced in half they are thinner than a slice of their white bread.
Never again. Poor value for something that looks like someone sat on it.
Flavoursome!! – When looking for a light snack or the perfect accompaniment to a soup look no further than the Rodini. With flavoursome garlic, black pepper and parmesan it is a definite must have in my household! Show details

It's better than good, not quite excellent – I'd love to be able to give it 4.5. Bread which is truly excellent is rare (and usually artisanal), but from a high volume bread shop this is about… Read more
as good as it gets in my view.
This is my go-to bread at Bakers Delight... when they have it. I find both the taste and texture of the bread itself to be excellent, and the crispiness of the crust compliments it perfectly.
There is but one problem; the stores in the northern Illawarra tend to be rather inconsistent in what they have. In some cases you can get the white version (which is also very enjoyable to eat, but as a rule I avoid white bread these days) but not the wholemeal version. You may or may not be able to get it with sesame seeds which, I might add, makes it even more enjoyable to eat. Sometimes you can't get it at all.
I get the feeling that this is not their best selling loaf since it's usually placed in some obscure part of the bread shelves. In fact I only tried it when I felt like something different, and noticed it when I was scanning the shelves. While I do get some other types to mix it up a bit (especially when the wholemeal with seeds isn't available), I usually end up returning to the Tin Vienna loaf.
I think that if Bakers Delight promoted it a bit more, it would sell quite well.

could have done with more. The bun was fresh tasting and easy to eat on the run, no mess. It was a little expensive for what it was but fine for an occasional treat.

Good – Great as a quick snack, get the shop to give it a couple of seconds in the microwave for you! Yum! Always available none really, you'd only buy it if you liked olives

cheaper rolls available from the nearby independent baker; they're mostly air, so are the independent baker's but a bit less so. On a per gram basis they are then 2.5 times the price of the those from the independent baker.
OK, so you think maybe they'll taste better. No they don't, I've just done a side by side taste comparison and while they're was some difference neither tasted better than the other.
OK – These are yummy and great tasting with the sweet tartness of apples and the crunchy nutty flavour of walnuts. They have to be a little good for you… Read more
because of the walnuts! I dont buy these too often, because I find the icing way too sweet to eat all of it, so I have to scrape some of it off. This is a pain because once you warm these in the microwave, its hard to scrape the icing off. Overall, these are a great choice for a sweet and nutty treat. These are a yummy sweet treat with the goodness of heaps of apples and walnuts. They are expensive, but if you eat one, I think it should satisfy your sweet craving and also fill you up for a while. These are too sweet for me to eat all of the icing sugar, so I usually scrape some of it off the top.
