2nd Best High Top Light Rye Bread is from Aldi but a little cheaper and not as fresh.
Coles please deliver my order if you can as you make the best High Top Light Rye Bread! No need to try and push the other name branded bread to try and replace this. In fact the taste is so good with the flour baked in on top it could even be 3.80 a loaf.
One a Penny Two a Penny – I find it ridiculous that hot cross buns are on the shelves in early January…but I still buy them. Coles I’m Free From(Gluten,Wheat and Dairy)Hot… Read more
Cross Buns come in a 180gr pack of three for $4….making them a little more expensive than the Woolies home brand…but I prefer them. I buy the ones with fruit and they hold their integrity and are very tasty when toasted.obviously a generous amount of fruit in them. They also freeze well.

resplendent with mouth-watering garnishes. It looks to measure 6 inches high and states on the label "SERVES 6-8", looks delicious "WITH JUICY VINE FRUITS AND A HINT OF BRANDY AND CIDER". But in reality the contents of the oversized tub look nothing like what is depicted on the glossy cardboard sleeve, as can be seen on the attached photos. After separating (with difficulty so as to not get scolded) the hot sticky contents from the plastic container after microwaving, the dark brown blob that lands on the plate measures no more that 4 inches high and when trying to divide into portions with a knife, collapses. The only way to serve this hot sticky mess is with a spoon. Providing you are still not dissuaded, upon eating this dark brown mess, your tastebuds are assaulted by the overpowering taste of sickly sweet burnt molasses, added no doubt to conceal the lack of "JUICY VINE FRUITS". The U.K. makers of this mush must laugh hysterically each time a ship-load leaves port for Australia and is testament to Coles' quality control, although it may be a ploy to encourage customers to buy their more expensive range of $38 - $88 "hand-made" Christmas puddings next year. Looking forward to the upcoming senate inquiry. Just don't buy this "product".
Too tough – Taste is good, but you need strong teeth to get through the crust, especially when it is one day old or more. It seems to be a problem with most… Read more
sourdough breads. Dont, and I repeat dont try to make a salad roll with it as the food inside the roll will squash out the side due to the enormous pressure from biting. I do like the taste though.
Definitely the worst I've ever eaten. Disintegrate when filled. Like eating wet cotton wool. Show details
Tasteless and falls apart – Well within date et etc but crumbles and falls apart; crusts literally drop off after 2 days, leaving little to use. Looks pretty but it’s a cheap effort from coles.
Horrible – This is a wrap that you CANT. I tried it twice and they just break apart. You cannot even get 1 roll of the wrap. I used it just 2 hrs after I bought it. It is also tasteless.
never buy again: Coles Rustic Baguette has EXTREMELY chewy crust – I bought a Coles Rustic baguette fresh from the oven at Coles in midday (still warm when I paid for it) and I had this baguette in the evening on the… Read more
same day. I cut a quarter off the baguette, sliced the baguette quarter into two halves: top half and bottom half, spread some butter, placed ham and cheese between the two halves and ate it as is. The crust was EXTREMELY chewy and my jaws were so tired after eating this sandwich baguette. I am used to eating "hard bread". I have been eating "Swiss Natural Rye Yeast Free Bread" almost everyday for breakfast (https://rivierabakery.com.au/rye-yeast-free). Anybody who is familiar with this product will agree with me that I am not "soft bread" person. Eating Coles Rustic baguette was not enjoyable at all. I will not buy Coles Rustic baguette ever again.
Just really bad – Not enough raisins for a start, but also the bread has hardly any spice in it. It just tastes like plain bread with a few raisins in it. Oh and the… Read more
bread tastes stale! It’s really bad and normally coles stuff is excellent. This is not at all. The bread was 4 days before expiry too. Had a bite (with margarine) and had to add honey cos it was that plain. Didn’t even taste like nice toast. Are my slices and threw the rest in the bin

I recently purchased Coles brand Turkish Rolls and this product is spoiled by the black ‘Nigella Seeds’ that are sprinkled on top of the rolls. These seeds create an extremely unpleasant taste which makes them undesirable to consume.

years ago. This bread is excellent and such a pleasure to eat. Coles do not seem to stock it any more but I can purchase it at Woolworths sometimes. I purchased the Coles Tradition white bread recently and afraid it is nearly inedible. Taste and texture, especially when toasted is very disappointing and the bread appears to disintegrate. Please bring back the Tip Top GF bread Coles.

fruit at all, just plain bread. C'mon Coles, times are really hard for us currently and you still cut corners on your products to sell to us. Your advert line of down, down, down is really appropriate, this is a REAL DOWN!!!
