superior product to my 14 year old Breville Bread Maker that had suddenly died! On 5/3/2025 I wrote to Glen Dimples Australia (the MR agents) stating that I'd found metal fragments/dust surrounding both the drive dogs in the base of the unit (not within the loaf tin) and that one of the mixing paddles refused to stay fixed to the drive shaft, sometimes becoming jammed against the other paddle and the side of the loaf tin. The response was, "if still with the 2 year warranty return to store where purchased"! Clearly it was out of warranty so I cleaned away all the loose metal fragments and lubricated the drive shafts. Today I discovered that the drive shafts have seized and there are more metal fragments/dust. Shouldn't a domestic product, supposedly made for regular use, last more than 3 and a half years? Especially when you consider my original Breville lasted for 14 years!
