Beware of voiding warranty with ARB bulbar – Purchased a Triton Ute from Kings Mitsubishi in May 2021. They recommended an ARB bulbar over a Mitsubishi. Didn't tell me this voids their 10 year… Read more

warranty on the washer pump. Initially the washer lines kept wearing through then the washer pump broke. Mitsubishi charged me $100 to tell me that the pump was broken and not covered by warranty. ARB warranty is 3 years but their service centres are booked out for 3 months. No flexibility or consideration for people that live in the country - expect customers to make a special trip to suit them.

AVOID at all costs – We have fitted a ARB Diff Locker to the rear differential of an NP Pajero. This is one of the biggest errors I have made in modifying a 4WD. The… Read more

Diff Locker has been a lemon from start to finish. First, it was not machined to the correct depth for the diff bearing, second the sill housing was not manufactured square. We have dropped the diff 4 times now exploring the problem. ARBs response is that it is an assembly error and the diff locker couldn't possibly have been manufactured to incorrect specs, despite the photos taken showing very, very clearly that the machined depth of the bearing seat was obviously out. We have spent hundreds removing and reinstalling the diff, replacing seal, seal housings, diff fluid and bearings, and getting the whole component reviewed and machined by an engineer.

ARB do not stand by their products, avoid at all costs. The only reason I went with ARB is that I was hoping to save money as their diff locker is cheaper than their competitors' - now I know why.

This review is about the USELESS and INADEQUATE, - SHAFT GUARD - The ARB person who design the system of clip-on method to keep the guard in place,… Read more

has probably never seen an outback corrugated track. While the previous model shock (BP51 160023) shaft guard, was of a hard plastic, easily breaking under vibration and outback's tracks conditions, it had a clever plate with bolts which the guard could be easily intalled and secured to. The new model of guard I'm reviewing, eliminated all that; provided only with a clip-on system, to supposedly, being able to keep it in place.. may be only for a trip to the mall! It is UTTERLY USELESS, as soon as you it the track.. the clip-on system provided, will fall apart..., and you are left with two pieces of plastic flaping around, the opposite direction they are intended to be. Once the shock is installed there is no way the guard can be removed, unless, you want to cut it off. TOTALLY A USELSS IDEA!!! ARB go back to the old model of securing the shaft guard, this one is USELESS!!!
