I have had this unit for almost 3 years and it's the best in dash DVD control module i have owned from alpine. If it had ipod full speed then i would never exchange it.... come on alpine, why can't we have software update availability????

Handy to have, would be dissapointed if we paid full retail for it. With the limited battery life it should come standard with a 12volt plug-in adapter for car use. Don't know whether a higher capacity battery is availiable to make me happy.
