bought the EXP-19CCMB last week (June 2026) and the first thing I noticed on the setup is that everything is smaller. The water container is heaps smaller than the other ones so you have to keep filling up - where another problem lies where you have to fit the container into a hook; and that's a pain in the neck.

The holder for the cups is loose which is annoying.

After pretty well using a complete box of Italian Blend (11 strength) we cottoned onto the fact that it's the capsules causing the problem as water was going into the used capsule container instead of the cup.

With the previous machine I could set up for the maximum amount of coffee in the cup. This time after at least half a dozen times trying to get the coffee to fill the cup to the brim (using the instructions: I'm not daft) I just gave up and have to press the button twice.

Stupidly I threw the previous workable machine away before I checked this rubbish out. The truck took it away the same day before I could charge out and retrieve it. Rats.

So now I'm going to have to get a refund: which of course is no problem with Aldi: but there's no point buying another one as they're rubbish: so I'll have to buy something else and leave myself with six boxes of unused capsules. Double rats.

This has to be the best ALDI coffee machine I've bought. The fact that I can use the Aldi coffee pods or choose to use ground coffee is great. The fact that I have to drop the coffee pod into the bin isn't an issue. Show details
