My first machine was reliable, well-built, and produced consistently good coffee. The second was acceptable, but the latest model feels like a significant step backwards in terms of build quality, performance, and overall user experience.

I understand the need to keep products affordable, but if this trend of reducing quality continues, Aldi may find that customers begin looking elsewhere for their coffee solutions. This could have a flow-on effect, not only on coffee machine sales but also on the ongoing sale of coffee pods, as customers who invest in alternative espresso systems are likely to purchase their pods and accessories from other suppliers as well.

I have generally been a loyal Aldi customer and have enjoyed the convenience of the coffee pod system, which is why this feedback is disappointing to provide. I hope Aldi takes customer feedback seriously and focuses on improving the quality and durability of future coffee machine models.

This has to be the best ALDI coffee machine I've bought. The fact that I can use the Aldi coffee pods or choose to use ground coffee is great. The fact that I have to drop the coffee pod into the bin isn't an issue. Show details
