smaller pieces 'finger-joined' together.

We called the Co. & they sent some money back but did blurt "the varnished ones aren't supposed to use finger-joint wood".

I reckon if you buy one in a dark stain or white paint it's made from itty-bitty bits of re-joined wood.

The best bassinet and cot – This cot is beautiful! the mattress is soft but firm. I love the ventilation in the base and mattress itself. The old cot I had from Mocka had an… Read more

extremely hard mattress with no ventilation, so it did get mouldy and the cot frame started cracking, it was terrible mdf board and cheap timber. I have had the sleepi for 1 and a half years and have had no issues it with. The wheels are very strong, I had wheeled it all over the house multiple times a day. The timber is very strong and has not chipped or cracked. very satisfied customer and will be buying another as my child still sleeps in it.

The Sun Troll Cot from Danish by Design has honestly been one of my favourite nursery pieces so far. The quality feels really premium — solid timber,… Read more

sturdy once assembled, and it doesn’t wobble or creak when you lean on it (which matters a lot when you’re constantly checking on a newborn at 3am). I love that it has a clean, timeless look rather than a bulky “baby” style, so it actually suits the room and will still look nice as baby grows.

The adjustable mattress heights are super practical for the newborn stage and later when they start pulling themselves up, and it feels very safe and well-made overall. It was also relatively straightforward to put together compared to other baby furniture we’ve built.

became messy trying to put her in and out without having to hurt my back and my c section site. The airflow was also an issue for us, constantly having to check on our little bub.

Really disappointing cot. -Like others have said, the bassinet function is incredibly impractical. It’s simply too low. I recommend visualising… Read more

yourself lifting your own baby in and out of this bassinet before you buy it. - The mattress separates into three parts which is tiresome to change because it’s really hard to get the three parts to stay together. The mattress is also incredibly hard. You are limited to the babyhood sheet range because of the mattress shape. -We only used the cot setting. Once again, like others have said it doesn’t fit through a standard doorway so once it’s set up in the nursery, it cannot be wheeled out to the lounge room ect which we hoped to be able to do in the early stages. - We didn’t take the side off and use this cot as a toddler bed as intended, because it’s simply too small being an oval shape. So much wasted space. -I don’t normally write reviews but I’ve taken the time to write this one because my husband and I are very disappointed with this product, especially with the price point versus the quality/impractical nature of it.

possible as they are too high. I use this cot, without the wheels and it is the perfect height for me to be able to lower baby without feeling that I will drop her or being unstable. She is now 12months old and I’m sure she can stay on this cot for another 6months before needing to move. The mattress and cot are great quality, cot is sturdy with no squeaks and the mattress is firm but comfortable, the transition for bassinet went unnoticed. I can’t recommend this compact more highly, especially for those shorter mums

put together. I like how it has two levels- a higher one for newborns and a lower one for when babies can pull themselves up to standing. I bought it because I needed something compact that could fit through doorways so I could move it from room to room, but the wheels on it are really poor quality. They keep locking when I'm rolling it and one has broken even though it hasn't been much used. Apart from the wheels I'm quite happy with it.

European Beechwood Timber and can evolve between 5 different modes to grow with my little one over the years. I've currently built it as a circle bassinet and when my baby is big enough I look forward to extending it out to the oval cot size next. The clear panels are a game changer, I love that I can see into the bassinet from across the room and have an unobstructed view of baby. It's the most aesthetic, stunning design and makes my nursery feel so stylish. The Babyhood team have been truly amazing and were so responsive, helping me with every step of my purchase via email. Thank you Babyhood!!

have it up next to the bed at night and then move it easily to another part of our bedroom for day sleeps. We chose this as we don’t have a lot of space and didn’t want to have a bassinet and a cot. We also wanted the cot to be up away from the floor for warmth and away from our large dog.

The only issues I’ve noticed with this cot, it’s hard to find any fitted mattress protectors or sheets so we’ve had to have them made/altered. We haven’t used the drop side much yet as have just our daughter in the cot with it down as she can’t roll yet and there is sufficient barrier with the side down.

stylish, seamlessly fitting into our nursery decor. One of the standout features is the transferability of the product. It will be transfer to a toddler bed then a table and chairs to grow with your baby. The cot was surprisingly easy to assemble, with clear instructions and all the necessary tools included. Our baby sleeps soundly in this cot every night, and we feel great knowing we've chosen a product that offers both comfort and security. It's definitely a long-term investment for any parent.
