Try out Optura 300 (another name for the MVX10i videocam) in an electronics store and you'll get it out for sure why, and what makes it a good videocam to use. So compact.

Variable resolution for photos (4.2 megapixels) and video's (3.5 megapixels). Use much the built-in stereo microphone, and you'll never dissagree that it performs very well. Supports PictBridge too.

I would not recommend this camera to anyone, as the unit always breaks down. Plus the repairs cost too much to get it fixed again.

Well, were do I start. I just simply say that it is a piece of s**t. We bought ours around Christmas 2004 and didn't get to use it that much. When it broke the Cannon people told us that it's not worth fixing.

I spoke to the Canon guys and they agreed to the fact that a particular lot was faulty. The company should have recalled these faulty models back, but risked the bad word of mouth by sitting tight on their profits.
