drain hose into a non functional plumbing outlet under the sink (who knew one hole was fake ), my Bosch Series 6 detected the drainage issue immediately, stopped itself, held all the water safely inside the machine and basically said “something is wrong here” instead of flooding the kitchen.

Local repairer reckons it's the PC Board after discussing over phone, which is a $400 part, then labour on top, maybe a $700 repair....Lol.
After advising Bosch, all we get is argumentative email exchanges with an overseas service centre outside of local hours.
So dissapointing for a mid-level appliance trumpeting German components. We should have just bought something Chinese for alot less, or a proper premium brand and spent some more money.
No more Bosch products. Don't waste your money!

and dries better too (including plastics). The only downside compared to a dual DishDrawer is that when a cycle is running, there’s nowhere to put dirty dishes. But in every other way, this Bosch is a huge improvement. What really surprised me is that one Bosch cycle uses about the same water and energy as a single DishDrawer, yet it holds around 2.5x more and cost about $1,000 less. I nearly didn’t buy it because of some of the negative Series 6 reviews online. Very glad I did.

after 4 years, service claims it needs both drain hose and inlet hose replaced (my plumber had previously assessed it and said only drain hose was the issue). Service quotes repair costs of around 50% of machine value and refuses to install it (i.e. plug it back in and put the hose back) after repairs claiming that is a separate service. I would never buy a product from this brand again. Both the build quality of their product and support provided has been miserable. Machine will now sadly go into land fill as I will replace with another brand.

settings. Yes maybe, if they’re doll sized. For adult sized china settings, on the left side you can load saucers or you can load cups but not both unless you’re happy to split the row into half cups and half saucers. Definitely not 14 of each. On the right side glasses need to be fairly short because if they’re taller tumblers or wine glasses, they will tip over. So on the right side, again you can load either saucers or glassware but not both, and there’s a 3” aisle between the rows where you could load long handled utensils but nothing else. Just not a good use of space.

like washing machine and there is no tap adaptor or anything. Unfortunately I live in government housing and in apartment and they said they will make a hole into kitchen bench I refuse no way. This why I bought linarie benchtop dishwasher which I love it I love omega too but it’s useless if you can’t connect it to the tap so I am returning it back I love omega benchtop . I wish they make it two option and make it useable like linarie benchtop dishwasher like people who Has no hose connection they can filled water manually like linarie and Medea benchtop dishwasher where you don’t need tap connections. This why it’s called benchtop. The day they make it two option honestly I will buy it in a heartbeat even if cost me $1000. I am today very sad the Harvey Norman guys going to take away my omega benchtop dishwasher and I am Getting refund. I love it so much because I had this ten years ago. I request omega please make your benchtop dishwasher by have two options one hose which connects to the tap and one of people have problem with water inlet hose connection they should put water manually and they should put little screen with a timer and which shows that if people choose to put water manually at least the dishwasher says it’s full like linarie. I love my linarie dishwasher. I hope omega think about it not everyone owns the house not everyone can find tap connections it’s better one fill the water themself into dishwasher it’s not need hard though. So please dear omega think about what I said if you want people to buy your product. Also if you decide to make it so people put manually please make it like little tray where you pull the tray like linarie benchtop dishwasher and fill the water manually in the bottom not on the top because a lot of people have arthritic . I hope you consider my request as soon you make this change I will get omega benchtop dishwasher .

of this machine have started to disintegrate, leaving a disgusting, black tar-like residue all over my "clean" dishes. This gunk is incredibly difficult to remove and even stains your skin when you touch the racks. I took this to the tribunal (ACL claim), but LG successfully fought it by producing a generic service report claiming "harsh chemicals" caused the damage. This is a complete deflection of responsibility for a clear manufacturing defect. The proof that their "chemical" excuse is nonsense is on the outside of the machine. The "Start" button on the control panel has bubbled and peeled away completely. Unless dishwashing tablets are now airborne and attacking the exterior of the unit, this is undeniably a failure of poor-quality materials. Bing Lee and LG have left me with a machine that is unsanitary and falling apart. If you value your health and your money, stay away from LG dishwashers. They would rather spend effort on legal loopholes than building a product that lasts. Pros: None. Cons: Leaves black residue on plates, control panel peels off, terrible manufacturer support.

years and have always loved them, so I replaced my last one with another Bosch - big mistake! I want my old dishwasher back. Here are the problems: 1. You practically have to break your finger to push the button hard enough for it to register that it’s been pressed, as the buttons do not depress they’re just meant to be touch sensitive. 2. The new cutlery drawer is useless but luckily you can remove it and throw it away. The problem is that if you use the cutlery drawer there’s not enough room on the regular top row for tall glasses or drink bottles. 3. The sections in the cutlery basket are much smaller because they have to go over the prongs as there’s no dedicated cutlery basket area any more, so the walls in the cutlery basket are so wide the pockets that the cutlery sits in are much smaller, for example, I can’t fit the immersion blender bottom in the cutlery basket any more. 4. The dishes seem to come out much wetter than my old machine, even after selecting the “extra dry” function

once I figured out which dishes could fit where, I was pleasantly surprised at how versatile they are! My favourite part has become the little removable plastic divider in the upper rack, because food containers fit in there very well. When the wine glass stem holders are folded out, they keep containers and plastic cups secured underneath. None of the lower racks are foldable, but have wide enough gaps to fit saucepans and frying pans.
There’s only 4 cycles on this thing, which are selected by turning a knob. There is a time remaining display with delay start and “Speed Perfect” buttons, which shorten the times a little on Pots & Pans, Auto and Eco in much the same way my last dishwasher did on “half load” setting. Express can’t be used with Speed Perfect, but that cycle only goes for 30 minutes, while cutting out the drying part completely. I can’t even remember the last time I had to run something through again, it does a really good job cleaning dishes on all cycles! Filter is easy to remove and clean. Can't be paused mid-cycle, but does pick up where it left off if you turn off via power button, open the door then turn it back on again, or if the power goes out momentarily.
Rinse aid dispenser can’t be manually adjusted, and it does drink quite a bit, so I always make sure to have some on hand. I can only assume it automatically adjusts dose, because I live in a hard water area but don’t get streaks on the dishes like I used to. Sliding tablet dispenser door isn't very durable though, about 18 months in, the spring and seal popped out, but was pretty easy to put back together myself.

This was expensive to buy at almost $1.8K but we feel that this reflects the good design and build quality. We are sure that it will last us a good time.
Edit: Just under 2 years after we purchased this we began to experience an intermittent issue with the top drawer and a recurring ‘A6’ error. It deteriorated earlier this year (2025) to such an extent that the top drawer became unusable. As it was then outside the warranty period we were obliged to pay over $300 for a service technician to diagnose and replace the failed water pump. We were NOT happy given how much we paid for this appliance and that the issue started while it was within the warranty period.
F&P subsequently agreed to reimburse the cost of the part and the labour ($134) but were not willing to cover the call out fee for the service technician to diagnose and quote for the repair ($199). We have accepted this, but NOT happily.

I purchased an Asko dishwasher on the 15/12/2022.
This dishwasher displayed an F11 error on the 04/04/2026. It then ceased working completely.
Asko stated that it is unable to be assessed as it is no longer installed. As dishwasher manufacturers, Asko should understand how important a dishwasher is to a family with young children. Therefore, I had to have the dishwasher removed so a new one could be installed.
I offered for it to be taken away and tested, to confirm the fault. However, to expect a customer to keep a faulty product installed, at a great inconvenience to their daily life, is terrible customer service.
Asko also told me that a refund cannot be offered as it is out of warranty. Under AustralianConsumer Law products are required to last for a reasonable amount of time, regardless of the warranty offered by the manufacturer. Three and a half years is not a reasonable period of time for a dishwasher worth $1499.00.
I have forwarded my complaint to WA Consumer Protection and the ACCC.
