up to a reasonable height. People are amazed. It's like a party trick. Friends told me the mechanism wouldn't last but it has and is very sturdy. The spongy blue inserts deteriorated over time but Electrolux contacted me to resolve this and I now have all-new replacements.
The machine washes well, and opens up to let out steam at the end of the cycle, which we live but it does freak out visitors(!) Everything is dry and although it doesn't fit as much as some other models, it doesn't mind some food scraps and being jam-packed.

is no need to notch the kickboard. However the system to fix the kitchen cabinet panel on the dishwasher is very poor. One of the screws broke as the panel was being fixed, and it got stuck in the hole, making it impossible to fix the panel. Try extracting a small screw with a broken head in a plastic thread on the side of a dishwasher... Because of this one little screw, we can't have a cabinet panel installed, and without the panel the dishwasher door will not stay open, making the very hard to use. We won't even try. We contacted electrolux customer service and haven't heard back in a week. Very disappointing so we can only recommend to stay away from this brand and model.
