time I go intending to purchase a Makita cordless tool but come out with an Ozito one because I just can't justify the price difference. This driver is great for weekenders and diyers like me. It hasn't quite got the same speed as a Makita or Milwaukee, but still has enough power for jobs like hanging plaster, installing decking, building a timber pergola with big batten screws, etc etc. It's been dropped, bounced and thrown from great heights but still goes strong, the switch works fine, battery connection is solid and doesn't make any funny noises!

Very versatile drill press for lightweight use – I bought this from Amazon Nov 2022 and have been using for several months. I make small items of wooden furniture. Pros: 1) variable speed - very… Read more

easy to change the speed for various size drill bits, particularly for Forstner bits or hole-saws 2) The table height is the same regardless of the size of piece you're working on. This drill is very easy to change the height of the pillar compared to changing the height of the table in a conventional drill press. 3) Electronic depth gauge. Most depth gauges on conventional drill presses are inaccurate and hard to read. This solves both those problems. It also has the added benefit that it can be zeroed. So need to subtract one depth from the initial height. Just press the 'zero' function when the drill is at the right height, and measure from there. 4) Depth stop gauge - for repeated holes drilled to depth (eg dowel holes), this allows you to concentrate on the drilling process, rather than eyeing the depth gauge. 5) No steel -> no rust. I understand that steel is a machine surface and is dimensionally stable, but it means you've constantly got to maintain the work surface. This drill has an aluminium base, which is also much lighter. 6) Large drill stroke (90mm) for a drill this size. 7) Lightweight, easy to move around

Cons 1) The wheel handle is not very intuitive to use. 2) This drill is for lightweight use. I've used it hole-saws and the pillar tends to wobble back and forth. So for heavy duty work, this is probably not ideal. 3) Is a bit louder. It contains a universal motor, which allows the variation in speed, which is a bit louder than typical induction motors on machinery.

I haven't had any problems with accuracy such as those mentioned in other reviews. I've only had it a few months though, so time will tell.

Overall, very happy with it and glad to see the end of my old 5-speed drill press.

lasts very long and is quick to charge to full. The build quality is outstanding (as you would expect from Bosch) and will easily withstand a few accidental drops. some holes took me 30-60 minutes as the drill would always overheat and I would run out of physical energy. This drill, for the same type of hole, I could do it in 10 seconds with very minimal energy. If buying this for masonry/brick, I would highly recommend this drill.

Bought this as a kit with 2 X 5 Ah batteries, charger and a hard case.

the 18v version of the infamous CXS driver range. It is a powerful little gem, I have been working with it since October 2023, using it for various jobs and I am extremely happy with it. It's a replacement for my previous driver (10yo 12v AEG) and yes you can't compare the 2. It's not playing in the same league. I drive metal screws, decking screws, plasterboard screws... You name it I probably use it. I love the centrotec system despite being expensive to add to but it works great and the set I bought had some very useful implements. The right angle has been fantastic and has pull me out of a few tricky spots. The fact is that you can switch from drilling to driving in seconds. I don't need a second drill with me, this is the only one I can have and it won't be an issue. The battery is a 2.5a and it last a whole day of driving screws. The electronic clutch is a hit, I drive consistently the force I need so achieving a consistent depth is easy. The working area has a decent amount of light from the drill and it can stand upright and is very stable.

Would buy it again, yes, I love the power it has and all the extras you can have. Yes it's expensive but it is durable and if I need a more powerful one I do have another drill...

range, despite registering the product when bought, DeWalt customer services don't want to know me because I don't have proof of purchase, after a load of searching I found the receipt This was originally a critical review but after a bit of phoning etc., I have my CDC795 supposedly repaired at no cost to myself even the shipping costs were covered under the warranty but I don't think it is repaired correctly. I was disappointed that after 18 months of light use my drill broke down. It was identified by the approved repairer as a simple gear selector failure, it is now working but still has the original problem which I believe caused the selector to fail so I expect it to fail again. I think my brief association with DeWalt may be at an end. .

Practical heavy duty rotary hammer, Bosch GBH 4-32 DFR – So, I am often amused by the fact that Bosch use the letters GBH as an entry for their rotary hammer descriptions. If ever grievous bodily harm,… Read more

could be inflicted on bricks, some concrete and then the Bosch 4-32 is guilty. Light enough for the average bloke or person to manage with a good safety margin the capability of this machine is very wide indeed, and more importantly it comes as a kit, with a standard chuck included as well as the SDS + chuck, lubrication grease for the drill bits, and assortment of SDS plus bits of high-quality as well as a number of other extras. As of July 2022, pretty typical price is around $700 Australian. It is a 240 V tool, which to my mind still has an advantage in terms of being able to run literally all day without interruption and provides maximum power output consistently all the time. I have a Bosch 18 V rotary hammer as well, a small capacity one which is fantastic, but when really heavy hitting Is required the 432 is always ready. It fits my hand well, extremely well balanced, easy to use, very little vibration particularly when using Bosch 4 Cutterhead masonry bits, which are my favourite for drilling into masonry and concrete, it is not hard to go up the ladder with it takes no effort to drill a hole typically it’s using my hands is from 8 mm to 22 mm holes and in all these cases it is an effortless quick and comfortable tool to use. It is now a couple of years old and I am satisfied that its performance, reliability and capability genuinely warrant a five star rating and comments made in public reflecting my user experience.

I have a number of Bosch corded rotary hammers, I personally feel based on 20 years of use of them, that bunch really do make outstanding corded rotary hammers and as the inventors of the SDS system their Rotary hammer drills are just brilliant precision instruments which are complimented By the outstanding development if it’s the Bosch put into their SDS plus drill bits. I find of the combination outstanding and I also find and believe the value for money proposition with the 432 and its supporting gear is excellent, are you truly robust reliable capable machine which if anything the advertising for it sells it short, it is an outstanding machine that performs to the maximum not consistently all day. Anyone who buys this unit will The extremely satisfied with it
