Super easy to clean – I chose this electric ceramic stove top as I didn't like the cleaning of a gas stove and all of its components. I also wanted to make a green choice. This stove is super easy to clean, and is easy to operate. I am happy with the cooking time.

If you plan to cook. DO NOT BUY THIS STOVE. This is by far the most useless stove I have ever had the misfortune to use. I had to buy a ceramic… Read more
cook top stove as the area the stove was to be installed was too small for an induction. What a mistake. Any cooking in pots or pans takes forever. The ring keeps turning off, the radiant heat is a very small area even on the drawn out circle the inner circle Is only adequate for the smallest pot. The heat ring turns off with any movement including stirring a pot or a pot boiling. It is impossible to clean. The stove is okay but the cook top is just for decoration

out. I wasn`t happy about the touch controls versus manual rotary control, but that wasn`t an option. Big mistake by me and Westinghouse. Learning it`s operation happened slowy by mistakes but was eventually mastered. Then the problems began. For no apparent reason it would switch itself off! Then if using multiple zones removing a pot without touching any controls, again it was prone to shutting down. Now we have the latest problem in that when turned on it`s in lock mode. The instructions, when found, are far from clear on how to unlock it. Much button pressing with unmention time lag may eventionly unlock it. Not good in the haste of preparing a meal. Now, after in less of two years the markings over the controls have almost disappeared making it difficult to operate. I would guess that in six months they would have disappeared altogether. What tech smart, but uneducated in the real world, university graduate would be allowed to introduce such rubbish that causes such damage to the former good reputation of the Westinghouse name. Avoid.

the knobs started to flake off exposing the black base plastic. The old knobs did not have this issue with over 10 years of use. I am very disappointed as it seems it flakes off where you touch to turn the knob. How are you suppose to use this cooktop without the knobs deteriorating?

cooktop constantly turns off – Turns off constantly due to its over zealous digital display area ( this is a built in safety feature but way over the top for our liking). If u get… Read more
any water even a drop of water or say gravy, it will turn off which is very annoying. Even if u use a damp sponge to clean up a spillage and wipe across the controls, it will turn off. We are very disappointed with this cook top and we have found that the cooktop doesn’t live up to our expectations as to what it should do. We will seek a refund.

shortcomings. The two cooktop heating elements are too close together, meaning I cannot use a 26cm frypan with my small 19cm frypan to cook at the same time. There was space to move the elements further apart which would have solved this problem. The two switches could also have been moved closer to the edge of the top which would have also allowed for easier use.
Verry disappointed – Very poor and disappointing product from the Westinghouse brand. Immediately after the first use I noticed the stainless steel rim around each head… Read more
changed from silver to bronze colour, anything spilt on the stove when cooking is very hard to remove and clean off, even when cleaned during or immediately after cooking. Many stains remain impossible to remove, It's only a few months old and appears very old looking and is heavily stained. The temperatures of each head are very unsatisfactory, difficult to get the right temperature, 3 heads of the same size with uneven temperatures when placed on the same level. I even bought a new pan to rule out the old pan being the issue and that didn't fix the problem. Initially I didn't think twice when given the option of the Westinghouse brand, never expexted to be let down like this.
