Pretty Good Portable Floodlight – Quite a handy little floodlight - light, compact, 1.8m long power cord, damn bright, and a clamp as well. This is so handy to use outdoors for some… Read more

extra illumination - 1600 lumens to be exact. I also love how spread out the light is, there's no hot-spots at all, just a massive area of light. Did I mention that it's only $25?

Just great for a temporary setup - party / worklight / painting, just plug it into an extension lead, clamp it onto a convenient place, and you have a huge area of light.

Quick, easy, effective and cheap - what's not to like?

Inexpensive but OK – Other reviewers have canned this product, but I have used two in both trade and domestic use and found them satisfactory. The only problems I have… Read more

had was filament breakage after dropping or accidental kicking, and I would not expect lamp to have survived.

In no way disputing the experience of others, I just say mine has been different. As to the vendor, I have always found Bunnings very responsive to consumer complaints, and if you do buy one of these lamps and the globe fails prematurely, take it back and complain/explain. You may find any replacement lamps last better then the OEM ones. The fabrication of the luminaire itself is sound enough for something in its price range.

A good product but too expensive for the imperfections – I've had it for nearly a year and use it regularly and have found that it's actually quite a good torch. It feels solid. Nothing has fallen off. It… Read more

throws a good white beam.

However, it's quite expensive for a torch so I had high expectations and it doesn't meet them.

The on/off switch has a secondary function of dimming if touched lightly which is a bit off-putting since it is easy to trigger unexpectedly.

The three (and I did re-check) batteries that come with it are carbon based with a limited life. At the price point I expected alkalines at least.

If it had been cheaper I would have given it 5 stars and ignored the quirks. At the actual price I expected something closer to perfect hence 3 stars.
