Same problems as others stops working – Thought it was a good torch, awfully expensive, worked fine for a while, but chewed through batteries even when not being used. Now wont turn on at all. Stay away, far away, from anything with Energizer and Torch on the same label. Show details

Energizer Hard Case Professional Rugged Headlamp – I purchased this from Bunnings for $49.98, to use when out walking my dog in the early morning. The headlamp appears to be well constructed and fits… Read more

comfortably on my head. The light, selectable between flood, spot and combined, both with a high/low setting, is sufficient at walking speed. The light head pivots up and down and holds in place, where it's put. Battery life seems good so far. The construction of the remote battery pack mounted on the rear of the headband seems suitable to last for enough time to get the value out of the purchase. There is not a lot of light throw from this headlamp, I've found it most useable within a 10m range, after that it's too soft and lacks definition. The packaging claims 100m but tthere is no useable light from this headlamp at that range. The largest diameter of the adjustable headband is maybe a tad conservative, I found it quite snug when worn over a beanie. This is a good headlamp for unlit indoor use, partially lit outdoor use or unlit outdoors where you don't need light throw past 20m.

Won’t stay on – Extremely un innovative design, Touch Tech easy to turn on granted - then get this - it stupidly turns off soon as you put it down to see anything - needs a switch Show details
