Great food processor, so many accessories – The Paradice was appealing as it was a large size but also had many other attachments like a smaller bowl insert. I have had this food processor for… Read more

about four months and it has definitely upped my kitchen game.

The basic blades are able to finely chop anything I have put into them, even small garlic cloves come out perfectly consistent

The potato peeler is well worth it, even able to successfully peel four or five decent sized unwashed potatoes which is great for making potato bakes. I disliked washing and peeling potatoes by hand, so it was important to be able to process these with minimal fuss. I wasn't expecting it to work as well as it did to be honest!

The dicer attachments are pretty good, but some firmer items don't fully go through and can block the grate. It does come with a tool to press them through by hand so definitely check between batches.

The adjustable slicer is a huge win too, I can make extremely thin onions perfect for using in smashed patty hamburgers in seconds.

Safety however is a huge consideration. Definitely not something to allow kids near. Make no mistake, ALL the attachments are high quality and therefore extremely sharp. I cut myself on the adjustable slicer when picking it up wrong and it opened my finger immediately and without any resistance. Absolutely take care when using and cleaning this product, as complacency is what will get you into trouble.

Aside from that, all attachments have plastic protectors for use when storing them, and the unit has a great set of attachments storage containers to keep it organized. The unit itself will not operate if the lid, attachments or bowls aren't correctly engaged so you don't need to worry there.

The motor and base is extremely high quality, and quite quiet for what it does.

All in all I would highly recommend the Paradice 16 as it has a great selection of attachments that will allow you to process large amounts of food in a short time, making meal prep days a lot more fun and a lot less work.

The old food processor lived in the cupboard for months on end, this one has a permanent spot on the bench and gets used at least twice a week.

contiainer in the opposite direction to printed arrows for the attachments WHILE gentlypressing the clear plastic down though a poke hole. Instruction or more printed information need on this middle part to separate. 1st time ever had to call very nice customer support for assistance as I was afraid plastic parts would break if not taken apart correctly. Breville need to include full details to unpacking an item. Seriously have to watch a product video in the cleaning segment to take it apart? If you buy it watch --> excellent video for cleaning into video & how to slide it apart. https://youtu.be/cnuwRYRJoYg?si=mRk9Hz42iwaSXx4

Otherwise quite and strong motor.

I'm a huge fan of a cooking on line instructor who just before Black Friday had fun buying this food processor. For years I wanted to replace mine,… Read more

it was time and since we have our wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks my husband was keen to make me happy! So we headed straight for Harvey Norman and found the Breville Wizz top of the range... and a wonderful sales assistant who gave us lots of information. It's a fascinating looking machine. I love Breville products and have several on our benchtop. So the guy at the loading bay put it in the boot of our car and we set off home to unpack. The first thing we noticed was the fantastic packing. Hugely complicated and nothing could possibly get damaged inside. Once it was sitting on the dining room table I could see how big and tall it all was. So I started exploring the options, no room on the bench so the only place would be in a corner cupboard almost on ground level. So we cleared out the contents and my husband positioned it and he went off to garden. I decided to lift it to the bench to explore. That's when I found out just how heavy it is. There was no way I could do it with out hurting my back and I plan on using it several times a week. From being over the moon to crashing and burning was no fun at all. I felt so depressed and went to my great husband and explained the problem. He simply said it has to go back, came inside and spent the next hour repacking in the exact same positions inside the double boxes. The following day I phoned Harvey Norman and explained the problem and they were happy to take it back. I met the same wonderful sales assistant and we went for a prowl through her department for a lighter processor which was also the best she could offer. I was under no obligation to buy then and there and they would have been happy to give me a refund, but I found a beauty! It's a Ninja Stealth IQ Kitchen System. It's now in the same cupboard with lots of space around it for other things and easily accessible. It looks a bit daunting and I might need a TAFE course to become an expert with it but I'm looking forward to making friends. It does have a small problem though. It has the worlds strongest suction caps underneath so it would never fly off any surface. The solution to this I found was to either put a place mat underneath or remove the the suction. I doubt it would ever move and I could place it a few inches from the edge of the bench. I'll find a way but to break the super strong suction could be dangerous to the machine. I'll write a review when I'm familiar with all its parts and let you know. If you decide to buy the Breville please ask to lift it from the floor if you don't have room on your bench. It really is a magnificent machine, but not for me. (Sorry Breville) I love all your other products.
