Great first bike – Excellent first bike for our daughter. She rode it with trainer wheels for the first few weeks & was then off on her own & learnt within 5 minutes. Steady & easy to ride bike. Good quality. Show details

Awesome little bike! – Started my boy off on his first bike "JR 50" 3 months ago. The bike is just awesome, always starts without hassle. I have removed the oil reservoir… Read more

and pre mixing the fuel as a safety precaution (40 to 1 mix) always running with high end fuel and 2 stroke oil. The bike itself is very quiet opposed to other 50cc 2 stroke bikes. I have removed the baffler and by doing so still does not make enough noise to irritate the neighbours! I have also removed the restrictor giving the bike really good top end and quicker throttle responce time. My little guy has had a few decent stacks resulting in only a few scratches to the bike, so overall a very tough little machine. Remember saftey comes first, neck brace and body armour a must for our little ones....elbow to the ground and ride safe ;)

Great bike to get kids started on motorcycles – Purchased for $1500 which is a bit expensive. The bike is quite heavy but has a large battery and all components are heavy duty. Easy to use and our… Read more

grandkids took to it straight away and after a few hours were very confident with throttle control and braking. They soon started standing up, weaving between obstacle course and having a ball. There is a tricky system to alter the three speed settings. Probably only able to be done by an adult or teenager which makes it much safer. We have not yet progressed past the slowest speed but not far off increasing it. Not sure how long the battery lasts but has not yet run out whilst the kids have been using it. Great product and worthwhile. Probably hold its value when we upgrade to a larger bike or petrol power.

starting out because if it falls on them be very hard for them to lift off themselves! mine runs very very hot and many people have suffered bad burns!!! carby get block easy!! in the few years had if had to clean carby at least 3 time and i do look after the air filter! half good suspension for Chinese bikes!! flogs most of the other Chinese bikes i have ridden. reliable! never had much go wrong! be careful though with gear changes can strip the gears! owner before me striped 2 gear and blew the engine and replace whole engine! nice bike over all if just a fun bush ride is your thing. Reliable, cheap inexpensive bike to buy and run, half good suspention, fun, Heavy, lacks power, only runs 90km per hour, runs hot,

Sherco should be ashamed. Terrible Design & Dodgy Warranty – DODGY WARRANTY 6 month parts only warranty on a $650 kids toy (for a 4 year old) that costs $650? Had it 7 months, just cost me $130 to fix 1 month… Read more

out of warrranty due to the throttle breaking (the fault was due to poor quality componentry, it just stopped working)

TERRIBLE DESIGN

The power socket is on the bottom of the bike under a rubber flap which the kids find hard to put back on and requires the bike with a heavy battery to be turned upside down for charging

We have 2 of these bikes the EB16 & 16 Factory. I'll never buy another Sherco anything after this experience with their low quality hardware and dodgy 6 months parts only warranty on a kids toy. Disgusting!
