Good – Comments on the description (above): * "Arm rest can be used in two ways" - this means the fabric can be folded over or under, giving different… Read more

access to pockets.

* "Thick padding" - not really that thick, but comfortable enough

* "Used for feeding time" - definitely yes, until baby grows too long and the arm rest get in the way of the baby's legs. Also it is NOT good for learning to breastfeed in... not upright enough, no lumbar support and the rocking motion makes things more difficult.

* "Unique soothing glider action" - I don't think it is particularly unique - most other rocking chairs seem to use the same sort of mechanism for rocking.

* "Assists blood circulation" - Huh? Says who?

* "Padding is hand washable" - don't know, haven't had to wash my chair's padding as yet.

* "Makes a great gift" - well, sure, maybe... as long as the receiver wants it. Otherwise it is a great big lump of furniture to store somewhere. And as long as the giver is willing to shell out about $300 bucks (or track down a second hand one on Ebay).

It is definitely worth getting the accompanying ottoman, otherwise you can't rock with your feet up properly. It is comfortable. The pockets in the arms are handy for storing books, remote controls, etc. Quite easy to set up - just had to screw the top part onto the base. Nothing really, although you need to be careful about little kids getting their fingers caught in the gliding mechanism.

Still going strong many years later – I bought an Ezy-rest recliner for my elderly mother in 2002 and they measured her and made a chair that she loved and used all the time for 10 years.… Read more

After that time the family regularly used the chair and this year, 22 years later, the transformer stopped working - the first problem ever. I was very fortunate that they could find a replacement transformer that worked well and we are back to using the chair daily. It is still in excellent condition and we are very very happy with the company and thank them for their help.

I love this glider, I've had it for 5 years and 3 babies and it's still going strong. The stain resistant coat is pretty effective as I have a light… Read more

grey coloured recliner and it still looks pretty clean. No odd squeaking or noises, and all functions for the chair and ottoman work beautifully still. It is a wonderful chair. When I've travelled with breastfeeding babies I've always ended up with back pain trying to nurse without my glider, so I think that speaks volumes to the comfort and support it gives.

My top tips are to buy and assemble it way before baby is born. I think a bunch of the complaints about assembly are likely due to sleep deprived parents struggling with it, assembling it while pregnant was less stressful although it was definitely a 2 person job.

Terrible – I've found it good to feed in and great towards the end of pregnancy when I couldn't get out of other chairs very easily but it hasn't held up very… Read more

well and I'm disappointed that it's peeling and that it isn't so soft any more. spills wipe off easily, initially comfortable At the two year mark the padding has compressed and the arms and the lower part of the back support (where my back presses up against it) is peeling quite badly, sqeaked after a few weeks and needed to be oiled

I would give 0 stars if possible – DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR. IT IS UNSAFE. One of the two main supporting bolts (which are welded into place, on the left and right hand sides) sheared,… Read more

making the entire chair completely useless. All the weight of the user is placed on these bolts. We purchased it 3 years ago, after EXTREMELY limited use by people who weight COMFORTABLY under 80kgs, and only noticed this issue when getting it out to re-sell it. It is now utterly redundant. The most frustrating aspect of this is that if a regular nut/bot combo was used instead of welding, the chair would be fine. What a joke.

The one product I couldn’t have done without – The Vogue Glider Chair was the first product we setup 7 years ago before the birth of our first baby and has been with us since. This chair is… Read more

amazingly comfortable and a must have in every nursery. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying a feeding chair, you will enjoy it. We have used this in our nursery for 3 children and don’t think we will let it go.

Good purchase – I preferred this glider chair and ottoman set to others as it has more lower back support. The chair itself is comfortable. Side pockets are… Read more

convenient.

The only issue I have with this chair is that it has developed a squeak that I can't locate. It seems to however bother me more than the baby!

Great purchase- perfect for nursery – I bought this chair in the light wood color for our nursery. I did intend to use it as a breast feeding chair but I ended up feeding my daughter in… Read more

our lounge room as she slept in our room for the first 6 months. Now that she is in her nursery we use the chair to sit and cuddle and read books before she goes to bed. It is " narrow-ish" and when I was learning to breast feed I needed a lot of room to position my daughter and pillows etc so would have probably been a bit too narrow. If I need to breast feed her at night now I will feed her in this chair with no problem. It is a fantastic price and looks gorgeous in the nursery and it works well as a beautiful rocking chair for story time and cuddles! Comfort and size in room. Easy to assemble. Probably slightly too narrow when first learning to breast feed.

Don't touch it – On our third in 7 months. 1st had a loud squeak that couldn't get rid of. They replaced it. The 2nd one completely collapsed with my daughter and I… Read more

hitting the ground very hard. Very dangerous. The company didn't know why it completely collapsed. They replaced it again. I'm going to buy another brand as I have no trust in Valco. Was told it's the best and also most expensive but quality is a disgrace.
