Great idea and can be a lot of fun if it worked all of the time – Unfortunately, I have found that they drop off the app frequently and if you go to different locations they don't automatically link to location. Most staff seem not to have a good knowledge of how to rectify issues that arise.

Excellent opportunity to pick up irregular heart beat – This is easy to strap on and wear. App is easy to use. The quality of readout is excellent . Great if trying to detect irregularities. In the App you… Read more

can scroll backward after pausing the live ECG to have a look at where you felt irregular beats . Once you see it, you can screenshot it and save it, to show your doctor, or email it. You can do email 30 second snapshot. My cardiologist (Australia) is right up with QardioCore . Any way to help identify bothersome problems that don't show up consistently (using 25 hr or 7 day holters) is a great idea he says. Possibly a life saver too! It doesn't read well if doing exercise but it is a quality readout and medical grade readout if sitting ( like if working at a desk). Expensive but very good so worth it in my opinion. Finding arrhythmia can be extremely difficult without this. I already owned a different brand, Kardia, a bery good small 30 second monitor ( place fingers on flat surface electrodes) but this is far superior as it has continuous recording. Much better for me anyway.

The app is crap – Seems well made and works ok when you set it up. But the app is utter garbage. I don't want a fitness blog, daily diary, fitness tracker, or any… Read more

I just want something I turn on, exercise in and then can see the results. Too much to ask.

Polar, please a lite app with all the unnecessary junk removed to make this device more usable.

It works okay but you have to change the battery every 3 months and has now stopped working – I am somewhat disappointed with the Garmin HRM 4. The accuracy of its heart rate monitoring is good when the battery is new, however every 2 months… Read more

of using it every other day, it starts to give lower readings. Not to mention that the Fenix 5 pro that I bought prior to getting this, frequently gives inaccurate readings during workouts, which defeats the purpose of having a heart rate monitor on my watch in the first place, but that is another review for another day. Additionally, there are some connectivity issues which are bit annoying. It occasionally loses connection with my device, causing disruptions during my workouts and making it hard to rely on. Four years after purchasing it, it stopped working altogether and will need to get a new one. Overall, the Garmin HRM 4 has been an annoying and unreliable accessory. I would advise doing more research on similar products that may work best for a lower cost.

A bit unstable - Good Support – I have had both Gen 1 and Gen 2 Tickr X. Both models had to be replaced under warranty. When new they work great, I think the battery door seal is… Read more

the weak point with issues starting after battery changes with both models. I was super careful with the Gen 2 battery change but still had stability issues after the change and noticed moisture inside. Warranty Support was good and new device sent out without issue.

messgae. Garmins reply was very slow and they said I would have to pay another $129 to have the problem fixed. Very poor quaility with equally poor service would never buy another again.

Not all the functions would work and error message displayed after changing the battery
