modem gave me signal in the back yard with this one it's gone. Thie range for this item is around 5 metres. The modem was placed in the exact same spot. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone. Update. It's worse than I thought had to reconnect old modem to get a reliable connection to all devices. Feel free to message me for more info. Do NOT waste your money on this product. Another update. Even with a booster it does not work properly. Its best function is being put in the bin. Total rubbish.

nothing since 2018. UI on the router website is terrible, can't send logs anywhere or do anything reasonable with it. WiFi coverage is really bad as well, my Bluetooth headphones have more range. I had a Netgear router before this that died due to lighting...I miss that router.

much more power than I imagined. - I can boost the power so I don't even need the extender - Router logs can be sent to my log server - Router had issues with connecting back to the internet. occurs once a week. But the firmware flash fixed it for me - this supports my Synology NAS really well.

con. every now and then there must be some issue with the NBN network. I need to unplug the D-Link router in order for it to reconnect. don't think that is the modems fault.

multiple times to attempt to reconnect. Now disappointed with this device.

Have to keep turning it off daily, once, twice three times, to reset so all online services work again.

What a pice of expensive junk being junked at the rubbish tip. Since been replaced.

connection) WHile the 5g has good connection speed (around 20-40 Mbps), the signal quality is very bad. My phone keeps disconnecting from the 5G wifi due to the poor quality.

Whenever I change the default setup the whole internet is gone, and i had to hard-reset the modem.
