and professional design work. The QD-OLED panel delivers the "infinite" blacks you’d expect, but it’s the 175Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time that steal the show—motion is flawlessly smooth with zero blur.
Why it’s worth it:
Vibrant Accuracy: 99% DCI-P3 color gamut makes every frame pop.
Smart Features: The built-in proximity sensor and "Uniform Brightness" setting are game-changers for OLED longevity.
Connectivity: Includes HDMI 2.1 and a USB-C port (though it only offers 15W power delivery).
The Bottom Line: If you want a 34-inch monitor that transitions seamlessly from high-speed competitive gaming to color-critical creative tasks, this is the one to beat.

an IPS display, the difference is night and day. Out-of-box calibration is amazing as well. A few tweaks later, Cyberpunk 2077 never looked so good. Inclusion of KVM switch, was really helpful for me, as it allowed me to seamlessly switch between my steam deck and laptop.
10/10 would buy again.

ultra-deep blacks, and near-instant pixel response times. While my current set up can not reach the panels 240Hz refresh rate in most games, the use of G-SYNC allows for clear images in gaming and where there is fluctuation in fps in particular areas. Overall, it’s one of the best 4K gaming displays I have ever seen, while it price is nothing to dismiss, if you have the money and are in need for a next generational viewing experience in 2025, then the pg32ucdm is the monitor for you.

smooth, especially when paired with G-Sync — zero tearing. IPS panel is shockingly vibrant for a monitor in this price range, and HDR10 support gives just enough contrast boost in games without oversaturation.
The ELMB Sync actually works — unlike most marketing fluff — with no noticeable ghosting. Also, no dead pixels out of the box, and the stand’s decent, though I VESA mounted it anyway. Great for competitive FPS and surprisingly solid for media editing due to accurate sRGB coverage.
btw I did this for free money take it as you will

deflection and shifting liability.
I bought an ASUS monitor that developed "panel bubbling" within a year—a clear manufacturing defect. ASUS approved the RMA and provided a prepaid shipping label.
During transit, their contracted courier severely crushed and tore the outer corner of the box. The service center’s own photos clearly show this violent mishandling. The screen arrived completely smashed.
Instead of taking responsibility for their courier, ASUS Support assessed it as "Customer Induced Damage (CID)" and demanded I pay for the repair! They cited their internal website policy, claiming the "customer is responsible for packaging," completely ignoring the fact that they organized the freight and bear the risk under the ACL. No amount of internal packaging could have survived the external structural crush their courier inflicted.
To make matters worse, their "Escalation Team" deployed delay tactics, demanding I produce "pre-shipping photos" of the box—an entirely unreasonable request for a standard consumer, especially when the courier's violent damage is already proven by their own photos.
ASUS is attempting to use their web policies to bypass statutory consumer guarantees. I have ceased all direct communication with their unhelpful support team and am taking this case to NSW Fair Trading. If you are buying ASUS, pray it never breaks. If you have to RMA it, be prepared for them to use every trick in the book to blame you for their own logistical failures.

laptop. At 1920x1080 resolution it is a good portable monitor which is the same size as my laptop. This allows me to pack both together when traveling providing extra protection. The colours are good for office work and the picture definition spot on. ASUS advertise that this unit come with an 7800mah internal batter, which it doesn't, so it has to be powered externally. The other main issue is the stand/travel cover which is a soft fold over cloth providing minimal protection and the stand fails dismally taking several minutes to get it to hold up before putting the screen on it hoping it won't collapse again. To power the unit and get video, the USB-C port has to be used or the USB-C and the mini HDMI together making it a bit more frustrating to operate. However once the video/power/stand is sorted, the unit is quite good. It does have a screw mount in the rear centre of the screen for a tripod mount. Overall it is a good unit, but the stand is very frustrating and needs to be replaced. I've had mine a day and already the "stiff" cloth is softening up so I can see it not being usable in the very near future. If you get this unit, buy the tripod yo go with it and get spare cables.
