longer need to hire a ute for transporting furniture (I even transported around 10 tons of bricks with the van, though I did so in 1-ton loads each time.). Two people can sleep comfortably in the van during camping trips, with the second row moved forward. The van only requires regular petrol (91) for fuel. The 2.4L petrol engine is simple and easy to maintain. While it’s not a racing car, it’s definitely powerful enough for daily use. I also noticed that its turning radius is much smaller than I expected for such a large van, and it drives like a car. The fuel economy is about 11L/100km with air conditioner running which is very reasonable for such a big van. The only downside is that it’s not a 4WD, but that’s something I can live with.

yet a clear and ongoing fault has not been properly diagnosed or repaired despite multiple visits. Few months back i came with the issue of turbo hose leaking that’s still not resolved and they gave me excuses except to fix the problem under warranty. I gave them bad review and very next day I received call from manager to remove the review and will look after to solve the problem. But last month again second time i went with another issue Kia carnival battery drain they said we are very busy can’t do anything have to wait till march. I requested them to please fix it soon, daily morning time i have to jump start and battery flat anytime. But they didn’t pay much attention and said come in march month. Somehow from last one month I managing to keep start car with jump start. But a week ago battery totally dead and powerless and i went to private mechanic, he listen to me and gave me a demo battery to try for a week to diagnose the problem either it’s battery problem or any other electric issue. So for one week I tried the demo battery and vehicle start smoothly and no need for jump starter. Again on monday 2nd February 2026 i went to dealership and informed the issue is with battery that’s need to be replaced urgent basis and it’s still under warranty. I can request to private mechanic to keep battery with me for couple of days. But Kia service workshop Guys not ready to listen me. Even i spoke with manager he said simply and straight can’t do anything that’s your problem not ours, come on appointment date of march month. Then i said it’s still under manufacturer warranty. I can wait couple of days but they simply not interested. So i gave another option if you don’t have time i can arrange my private job and you can pay the invoice. But they said big No. So enough is enough now. This has wasted my time, caused ongoing inconvenience, and shaken my confidence in both the dealership and the brand. A warranty should protect customers, not be avoided. Each time, I was told the issue was “normal” and i have to visit for the same problem to return. There has been no accountability, no proper explanation, and no permanent solution, which defeats the whole purpose of having a warranty. I would not recommend this Kia Service Alexandria service to anyone expecting professional support or genuine warranty repairs. I am now forced to escalate this matter further.

to drive and roomy. Running costs were a little high (major service cost 2k!) and I was alternating between replacing brakes and tyres every year. However, no major repairs or recalls. However, out of warranty and just ticked over 130,000kms the Ad Blue/urea system failed. I have been quoted $12k for repairs. The car is not driveable. It’s a major and very expensive system failure. The ad blue system failure is a known issue with these vehicles and Citroen did nothing to recall and replace - assuming it was too expensive. I have lodged a claim with Citroen but it has now been 2 Months and they have not been forthcoming in offering any support or compensation for the major system failure. The car will now cost more to fix than it’s worth. Warning to all buyers looking at Citroens and those cars with the Ad blue system - just don’t buy! It’s not worth it.

2026 it started notifying that the automatic daytime running light is not working, contact workshop. After sometime it started notifying automatic emergency break assist system is not working. In addition to this I also found that the airconditioning is inadequate. It does not cool quick enough even in moderate temperature. The engine oil level has become half just after running 7000 km and I had to fill 20 litres of adblue. The "Hay Mercedes" voice assistant is completely cr#p. It is beyond imagination that the company will roll it out without testing. The system does not understand most of the voice command and keeps saying " I did not understand you this time. The automatic upper beam system also works at its own mercy and does not provide any meaningful support during night driving. The buttons are harsh and make loud click sound. The automatic assisted parking system misses most of the parking lots and abruptly cancel the parking leaving the driver fumbling with the controls when the vehicle is stalled in awkward position.

items) and building materials. Did lots of of short trips which is not the ideal use case for a diesel vehicle. Vehicle was serviced at Hyundai Castle Hill with no issue. PRO: torque and effortless drive; huge load capacity, easily fitted 2200x1200 sheets flat in the cargo bay; 360 camera system was a life saver in tight areas.

CON: height! I removed the roof top antenna in order to reduce the vehicle height. Even then the vehicle would not clear many under cover parking stations; LED headlights could be better. Almost zero light spill illuminating the road side; fuel consumption was 11.65 L/100km (actual measured - 95% city cycle) over the period of ownership; high cost of a replacement battery ($550); resale value after 3 years.

recommend it commercially, private use there fine but I had a list of things that went wrong within the first 100,000km of use. And it happened to 3 out of the 4 I had on the road as a courier but they do have good things aswell but there better for private use where there not getting hammered on the road 12hrs a day
