A few e-mail inquiries to Epson led to know that the LQ-2090 can use USB, yes - USB. There's an IEEE 1284 port available, but if I could connect it to USB, everything's alot more cleaner at the back of my computer. No more fatty cable loops.

For the price it's a good printer/scanner/fax - but if I knew it'd use so much ink I wouldn't have brought it. Tip - change setting to print in draft mode and in B&W only if you are not printing anything important, this will save alot of toner...

These aren't faceout printers, though not in production. Still serving ways to help businesses and retail-type industries maximize low-end printers. You could use a singe cartridge for a month and still find yourself being able to print more.

Epson LQ-300 is practically an old and probably discontinued line of dot matrix printers, but there's a sure for that. In fact, I still see original catridges on sale.
