(Bear in mind I purchased it in 2019 and it have a 2 year rest during Covid lockdown). Was advised the grinding sound was water damage and 2 x motors required replacing. Cost $650.00. When received I then noticed a clicking sound which got progressively worse and took it in again in January 2024. This time advised again water damage and repairs at a cost of $450.00. Tried to speak to the technical department who said they will call me back-to date zero callback. My concern is making and manufacturing a golf cart which can be exposed to water damage on a golf course!!! I thing they are just draining money for repairs due to a lack of proper design. When purchased I paid $1800.00 for the MGI, however there were cheaper alternatives, some around $300.00. Could have purchased 6 of the cheaper alternatives for the price of 1 MGI.Some of my golfmates have purchased the cheaper alternative and they have no problems. Bottom line be careful when you purchase an MGI, when there is a slight chance of rain dont use the buggy as it may get water damage. Consider the support who does not support you, rather advise you claim a new one via insurance. Totally terrible for the price paid.Would not advise you purchase before looking at alternatives.

You cannot call anyone - all emails, and response time a little delayed. This poor quality of instructions and You Tube is frankly a bit insulting to the buyer. Once assembled leaving aside discomfort on handle bars, the bike is very light which is a positive and while early days, the kids seem to like it. So we shall see. Came quickly in the post and not a drama to put together highly recommend. Will be getting another one for my one-year-old when the timing comes!

They took no responsibility for the screws (even though my purchase date was a few weeks before). I was sent a link to buy new screws, $25 later and it took about 2 weeks to arrive with no assembly instructions.
About a week after this the brake snapped off. I demanded a refund due to it being a faulty product; this was refused. They sent a complimentary break that took a week to arrive. Again with no assembly instructions. I am awaiting a reply to that which I sent a few days ago.
Honestly, I have never found a company so unhelpful or less empathetic. My daughter always had a micro scooter which I can't fault, never an issue.
Little Nation have received some good reviews so I'm assuming the majority of their products are fine. You would think such a big company would have offered a new replacement or a refund for their faulty model that my son received. He still doesn't have a working scooter to ride to kinder. Shame on them.

The base of the pedal barely clears the ground and if you lean slightly a take a bend or pedal out of a dip the pedal hits the ground. This bike is extremely dangerous and I had a nasty fall this week when the pedal hit the road and I came off the bike onto the road.
The company have stated they have thousands who ride this bike every day without issue, perhaps they do, and perhaps they aren’t riding it with 24” wheels. My partner has the version with 26” wheels and has 10cm clearance …. I have 4cm! This bike needs shorter cranks for the size of the wheels. This is a design fault which renders this as unsafe and not fit for purpose, which this company will not acknowledge or fix.

As a result, the controllable distance function is useless as the buggy will turn 90 degrees in less than 5 metres even on flat ground. The buggy requires full hands on control at all times, as it won't ever go straight. A great first e-bike option with decent range and powerThis is Vamos’ most popular electric bike and it’s designed with first-time e-bike riders in mind. I wanted to test my very first e-bike with this exact model.

lived with the El Rapido to see if it really is the ideal choice for those looking to electrify their cycling commute. There are two models of El Rapido to choose from: a 50km+ range El Rapido which is priced at $1,995 and a 65km+ range model priced at $2,195. Having a quick look across what else is available at this price, this is a fair starting price. Sure, it’s a little more expensive than a regular e-bike, but there are plenty of features here that help justify that price. The bike comes mostly preassembled, requiring only 30-40 minutes of your attention to finish the build. It comes with a bell, inbuilt lights and mud guards, disc brakes, a Shimano gear set, inbuilt mud guards and chain guard, seat suspension and adjustable front suspension. You can’t forget that Vamos thoughtfully includes a bell and keychain to keep all four keys to this bike’s battery pack together too. It certainly feels like a complete bike, making it a great ‘out of the box’ starter commuter bike. The El Rapido features a 250W Bafang electric hub motor found on the rear wheel. Depending on whether you opt for the standard or long range battery, you’re getting a 13v/10.4ah or 13v/13ah Samsung battery pack. You’ll easily have enough range to commute to and from the office. And in case you don’t, it’s easy to remove the battery pack and take it into your office to charge back up. The charger was just a bit too bulky for my liking, meaning it’ll take up a bit of space in your backpack if you plan on carrying it around with you. Charging will take up to 4-5 hours for a full charge. That 250W hub motor provides plenty of push for the daily commute. You can cruise at speeds of up to 29km/h as indicated by the LCD display, with the El Rapido requiring little effort on flat surfaces. However, if you want to rely on the motor alone for steeper inclines, you’ll be a bit disappointed there. Instead, you’ll need to rely on the pedal assist feature to get you to the top. The build process was fairly effortless. The bike was covered entirely in zip ties, and removing these takes the bulk of your assembly time. I’d highly recommend watching the build video before commencing, as it’ll lay out everything you need to put it all together, and will help you avoid any awkward interruptions to make trips to the local hardware store. I bought a commuter bike a few years ago, and found it a bit stiff in comparison to this bike. Honestly, if you need to ride in every day to work and don’t feel like changing and showering afterwards, the El Rapido offers a halfway solution. If your commute is relatively flat or you’re okay with a slower ride, you can avoid the sweat. But if you’re heading up hills, you’re still going to need to pump your legs for that pedal assist. I can tell you now, it’s still far less of a workout than your traditional push bike. I found the El Rapido to be extremely comfortable thanks to seat suspension and adjustable front shocks. I especially loved being able to keep a cruising speed with the throttle and then quickly build speed. I rode the El Rapido through a dense rain storm and found it to still provide plenty of grip and live up to the claim that it’s weatherproof. In comparison to the bike I bought in 2020, I’d easily say the El Rapido is worth the extra $1200 if you commute most days with a bike. I can see why this bike gets overwhelmingly positive reviews: it’s so simple to operate and is a proper commuter entry-level spec e-bike. I wouldn’t say this would be the best solution for those looking to spend upwards of $5000 on a more refined and powerful e-bike. Rather, it’s a great option for those 'umming' and 'ahhing' over whether to jump on an electric powered two-wheeler. Sure, it’s not the coolest looking e-bike you can buy, but it’s function over form in this case. If you’re looking for an ideal commuter bike that’ll require nothing more than just just a simple assembly, the El Rapido fits the bill. *Disclaimer - I work for ProductReview as their independent car and motorbike expert.
