wheel almost snapped off on it's second use on a trip to Melbourne and the second case failed on our third trip in exactly the same way. Fortunately, this time the damage occurred on the trip home so we didn't have to run around and purchase a replacement bag in order to fly home. Both cases were rendered useless afterwards and ended up in the bin. Obviously there is a major design fault as all the reviews seem to describe similar failures. Very disappointing when we thought that by purchasing an expensive suitcase, we could look forward to many years of travel with it. Not to be!

fabric is torn. Our Atlantic & Delsey cases are still fine after years of use. Avoid Paklite Astral like the plague!

whole corner base was completely smashed, we then took an internal flight and the other side was smashed as well. Contacted Paklite, who responded quite quick with its "not our fault, contact your insurance company" Their product is faulty! I have used other cases travelling worldwide over the years and never had a problem with any of them. This product is inferior quality.
