A few months ago I purchased a Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam, Model no 3670F this product works like a dream and is correctly designed, engineered and tested to be practical and a asset to making house cleaning easy, hence the massive DISAPOINTMENT. BISSELL HAS DEFINITELY DROPPED THERE "LEADING EDGE" on this model of the crosswave HF2.

sound like much on paper, but in practice it feels quite heavy during normal use. After a short time vacuuming, both my wife and I experience wrist soreness and fatigue. For a stick vacuum, I expected something lighter and easier to handle.
I also tried to claim the advertised bonus offer that came with the promotion, but the redemption had to be submitted within 14 days of purchase. Over the Christmas period this is very difficult to manage, and I feel the claim window should be more reasonable given the time of year and how busy people are.
Overall, the vacuum works, but the weight and the tight redemption timeframe for the promotion have left us disappointed with the purchase.

No longer a Bissell customer – Do NOT buy Bissell! Their quality control and customer service is a complete failure. I purchased a Pet Hair Eraser Slim. It hadn't been a year and… Read more
there was 3 holes in the suction tube. I called, they sent a replacement because the VACUUM was still under warranty. I had to send my damaged one back which of course meant they'll put the same badly designed tube in it and send it out to someone else. They sent the wrong head. I had to send that back and then they sent the right one. Mind you I was without a vacuum all through this. Here I am not even another year later and I have a hole in the suction tube again. I contacted them. They offer me a 20% discount to buy that same defective reworked part or to buy a new vacuum. Because the vacuum is now out of warranty, past 1 year. They do not warranty the defective part they replaced separately. “This is unacceptable” I say. They have an obviously defective product, my vacuum isn't even 3 years old and I'm dealing with holes in the 2nd tube. “The best we can do is 25%” they say. Another 5%!? Are you out of your mind!? I tell them to escalate this to a higher up. They say I'll be contacted within a week by email with a decision. I received an email within an hour saying the same. That it's 25% and it's only valid while on chat or phone ordering through an agent with this complaint. Completely blown off. BISSELL you are a huge company. Your customer service should be extremely better. There is absolutely no reason my vacuum shouldn't have been replaced by the newer model, at the very least. Your vacuum lasted LESS THAN A YEAR and now I have to buy another. I promise you, IT WON'T BE A BISSELL.

wow. We did our friends carpet after her little dogs kept having accidents on it, she was amazed as well to see results, the carpet came up nicer then when she moved in. The Bissell solutions smell clean and fresh after cleaning for days, weeks. Easy to use, pretty straightforward how to fill and empty. After reading a particular review saying ‘renters dream’ is what sold us to purchase it. We highly recommended this machine to anyone with carpets. We will never need to pay anyone from here on in to clean our carpets. Money well spent on this machine we have nic named our ‘Bissell Beast’. LOVE it.

us to get the mop one because "it's so convenient". Turns out the vacuum is complete garbage, doesn't do any good at either vacuuming or moping, the engine is very weak and doesn't suck well at all, the whole system is garbage and doesn't get the dirty water inside the tank, so it ends up back on your floor... It works for about 10 minutes then needs to be completely cleaned out so it doesn't leave dirty water everywhere. The product was advertised as being of good quality, even above commercial grade but it's worst than that. I do not recommend this product or that Brand that has poor ratings overall.

I'm very disappointed as reviews I had read seemed positive. Very short cable - I have attached a 10m extension lead so I don't have to change sockets for every room in the house. Cleans carpets well, for the areas it can reach. Wooden floors also ok but the head is so large it can't access small spaces eg round toilet or bathroom fixtures.

Device has now failed with an internal fan error. $700 piece of junk. customer service and, after a long wait, they troubleshot the issue over the phone and then insisted it be sent to their service centre via a Post Office barcode.
It has now been almost 15 days and there has been no proper arrangement made for a replacement or a timely fix. In the meantime, I’m unable to clean my floors and have been left without a working machine. For a premium product to fail in under a year, and then receive such slow, almost non-existent support, is very disappointing. I would seriously think twice before buying this product again or recommending it to others.

intuitive to use - fill up the clean tank with warm water and Bissell solution, unlock the upright stand with the foot pedal, spray the solution back and forth and repeat again to extract the solution from the carpet. The slower you go, the better the results. The amount of dirt that can be collected in the dirty tank is unbelievable - even after a thorough powerhead vacuum. It does good job with new stains and also old stains if you use Bissell Oxyboost additive and pre-treatment. The water extraction is efficient and carpets dry in 2-3 hours. Cleaning the head is easy enough as the extraction nozzle clips off and roller brush comes out with one screw for a rinse. It works well on flat rugs and low pile rugs, but no experience with shaggy rugs. It will also work on chairs if they're flat.
Only downsides are the slight leaks during use (keep it on a towel when standing upright), the clumsy emptying of the dirty water tank and small capacity of the clean tank which means you have to rinse and refill frequently, even for a small room. However this is only designed for small jobs and I can easily see a bigger tank as adding unneeded weight. That's why Bissell made the ProHeat x2 and Big Green for larger areas.

Avoid if you value your money – When you spend $600 on a vacuum, you’d expect it to atleast work for a few years. Have their “top of the line” stick vacuum… First one I purchased… Read more
stopped working after 12 months of light use. Had to jump through lots of hoops and deal with their shocking customer service to finally get it replaced under warranty.
The second unit worked for about the same time, before the powered head stopped lighting up and turning. Tried the other accessories and they had the same fault. Took a cover off to have a look inside and could see a clearly burnt out circuit board.
Took it into their head office and they refused to even look at it because they only stand by the warranty period of the original vacuum which is now expired. Clearly they have no faith in their products so don’t want to commit to another two years once they replace the original faulty unit.
It’s only had light use as I have a robot vacuum that does most of the work. Maybe if I’d used it more it would’ve faulted earlier so I’d still be covered by the warranty.
Now I have a $600 piece of scrap, cheaply made plastic. Avoid Bissell like it’s the plague. Never again. Photo of the burnt out circuit board on the 13 month old replacement unit attached, probably lucky it didn’t catch fire in my hand!

arm to use it. The rotating scrubbing brush barely touches the carpet so I have to push down really hard simply to get some scrub action on my stain. And due to the weight and the need to push down so hard it’s painful on my forearm. The clean water tank requires a ratio of about 3:1 water to carpet clean solution. And since it quite easily utilises a full tank on one spot, ur using a significant volume of solution. The bottle of bissel solution will be gone by the time I’ve done another couple stains. It’s probably good for 4 stains/spots. And considering the price of the bissel solution it’s not at all economical. The suction is minimal, my carpets are left very wet afterwards. I was hoping this would be easier/more practical than my cheap vax carpet shampooer, but due to the fact you only get 20mins of powered cleaning, and the scrubbing brush barely touching the carpet, I managed to do 1 or 2 spots before I had to recharge. I recharged, leaving the clean tank refilled ready to go. Next day I went to do the other couple marks only the find the clean water tank had leaked, even tho I had the machine correctly positioned upright so as to avoid leaking (the instructions state that it leaks if on its side or if you clean a sofa in a downward motion) turns out it leaks upright too.
One positive I can attribute to this appliance is how easy it is to clean the machine itself. No screws to remove the scrubbing brush, it just pops out which I really like. M Other than that, I’ll probably continue to use my vax even tho it’s heavy and big, and a huge pain due to its size, it cleans almost as well as a professional carpet cleaning machine. And it takes 2 seconds to clean a stain- the bissel takes much longer and does a sub-sufficient job aswell.
