Great suction power, but often have a short battery life – My first Bosch Athlet cordless vacuum cleaner was amazing. Very strong suction, picking up everything and leaving my carpet looking great.… Read more
Unfortunately it stopped working after 10 months. The battery had died. Luckily it was still under warranty so I got a replacement from Bosch- free of charge. When the battery goes - it’s useless as the battery is built-in. My friend found herself in the same situation. I have had my current one for 3 years and it hasn’t missed a beat. It’s such a great vacuum cleaner, so I hope it’s battery holds out a few more years.

cheaper replacements that seem to work fine. We've had no reliability issues and it's working well. It has decent suction on it, so it can be quite hard to vacuum carpet given there's no powerhead attached. But hard floors are pretty straightforward and you can turn down the suction levels for carpet to make it a bit easier to push back and forth.

it was too high classed as expensive. Didn't return it as it's over the return date. Not a good place to buy electric stuff.

On Auto and Turbo modes it cleans hard floor, corners, skirting and textured heavy rug easily and well. On carpet in the Eco mode it's excellent, but… Read more
in Auto and Turbo modes it seems to require strong pushing(?). Only used it a few times and very pleased with the ergonomics and LIGHTER weight of this little stick vacuum. [ In comparison- the DYSON Gen5 Detect is noticably heavier and I became quite tired using the Dyson just on hard floor. But Dyson power-head was easier to use on carpet.]
In agreement with other reviewers, I found the Bosch light feature to be surprisingly useful! I actually enjoy using this vac (yikes)! Features I like: Lightweight!; Cordfree convenience (as opposed to my marvellous Miele barrel vac, which requires plugging and unplugging in various rooms); Reasonable power; Good on hard floors; Self stand-up rod; Ability to swap batteries while one is charging(actually only had to do so once); the easy detach-by-foot powerhead; the furniture hook; Bagless (no shopping and buying bag$!). The dustbin is simple to clean and the clever filter shouldn't need replacing for many years. I have little Bosch Unltd 7 (2 battery version) in the laundry, hanging on its furniture hook, plugged into a nearby PowerPoint- very easy :) Its tools are kept in a basket inside the laundry cupboard. I'm more impressed than I anticipated with this, my first stick vac, and certainly recommend it. I would definitely buy it again.

lasted the length of time 10-15mins, max. Even when fully charged. Then after 1 month it stopped working altogether. Very disappointed in this product as I felt I was buying quality but it has proven otherwise. I wouldn't recommend buying.

The series 6 vacuum cleaner is reasonably efficient, but as reviewers have pointed out, the brush head very soon clogs up. I can live with that. But… Read more
the most infuriating part about this vacuum is the build quality. Where the pipe connects to the head the connection is not strong enough. After a couple of years of modest use the pipe to the hoover head comes loose causing the electrical contact to the brush roller to fail . The only way I found to get around this problem was to cover the internal pipe with a small amount of gaffer tape. This of course makes it more difficult to remove the pipe to use the small nozzle in the head for cleaning or for small hand held jobs. Definitely a design flaw. The weight of the brush head and pipe is too heavy for the push connection at the head when the cleaner is lifted and moved about.

28/05/2023, and it stopped working just one month after the warranty expired. When I first contacted Bosch, I was advised to purchase a new charger. However, I have confirmed through an independent repair service that the charger is fully functional and that the real issue is with the circuit board.
This means the vacuum has developed a major fault shortly after the warranty period, which is not consistent with the standard of durability and quality consumers are entitled to expect under Australian Consumer Law. A Bosch vacuum should reasonably last well beyond two years.
Unfortunately, the support I received so far has not resolved the matter. I would like Bosch to assist me in resolving this issue fairly. A practical solution would be for Bosch to supply me with the replacement circuit board for my vacuum so I can have the repair completed.
I am confident this request is reasonable under the ACL, and I am happy to work with you towards a fair resolution. I have attached proof of purchase for your reference.
Please advise me on the next steps.

vacuums.
My partner wanted a Dyson submarine and I ensured her no Dyson vacuum are used by men. Let’s be honest, we’re a bit more rough when using tools. We bought both, and the bosch has won her over.
This 2in1 streamlined through the house like no one’s business! And whilst the Dyson had a bit more power in the specs.. it’s more than potent for our family. If you need more power from a vacuum, you might be having a family issue, not a vacuum issue.

head spinning brush CANNOT be removed for cleaning. The main head accessory will not vacuum a rug because it sucks on and will not move even on low power. The unit falls over when dragging along behind you. Overall disappointing with only a 4ltr bag. Fit for purpose but not as good as the Meile we replaced. Also don’t expect to hear anything back from Bosch when you ask them to call you. They expect you to waste your time on their 1300 number. When you do get a response through their so called mediation, they make it almost impossible to resolve the issue. After sending all the information they required, I then got a phone call which sounded like it was from someone in the Philippines asking me to send a video. A simple resolution would’ve been just to send me some new parts Very difficult to deal with this company. No more purchasing from Bosch.
