Posting Guidelines

ProductReview.com.au offers users the ability to access and write reviews of consumer related products available in Australia and around the world. Our goal is to make ProductReview.com.au an enjoyable and informative service for all Australians. Before posting any content on ProductReview.com.au, we ask that all users follow these simple Posting Guidelines. Those users whose reviews do not meet these guidelines will not be approved to display on ProductReview.com.au. Those users who repeatedly ignore these guidelines will be blocked/suspended from posting further reviews.

  1. Personal Information – any review containing personal information such as names, addresses, phone numbers or email addresses is not tolerated
  2. Swearing – any review containing swear words will be edited or rejected. It is possible to express yourself without the excessive use of swear words
  3. Material containing profanity, vulgarity, hate speech or threats of violence is strictly prohibited
  4. External links to any unrelated or offensive material is prohibited
  5. Impersonations of other users, businesses or ProductReview.com.au staff is not tolerated
  6. Senseless posts, not relating to the product will be rejected/deleted
  7. Spam/advertisements are not allowed in reviews, if you would like to advertise please contact us
  8. Duplicate reviews, with identical or similar text are not allowed
  9. Plagiarism/Copyright - Do not submit any content that infringes any copyright or other proprietary rights of any party
  10. Personal attacks on other ProductReview.com.au users or businesses listed on ProductReview.com.au are prohibited
  11. Spelling & Grammar – Reviews containing excessive use of CAPS or placing strong emphasis on particular words are not tolerated. CAPS can be seen as the equivalent of shouting. All reviews submitted to ProductReview.com.au are subject to editing, in which spelling and grammar errors may be removed
  12. Manipulation of content to increase word count is prohibited
  13. Submitting content on an item that is reasonably likely to offend a person looking for information on that item is prohibited
  14. Posting a review on a product or business that you own, are affiliated or previously been affiliates with with is strictly prohibited.
