Macs-4-u

We will never do business with Macs-4-U again. We brought our 2010 iMac in for repairs in October 2024 and ended up having to purchase a brand new computer, which we never received. After 3 months of avoidance and excuses, we demanded the return of our $3,099. We believe the owner deliberately deceived us because he was short of funds and used our money to help keep his business afloat. We give 1 star only because you can't give zero stars.

Old Fashion, High Tech Shopping – I have been gradually upgrading my personal Mac family with Charles and staff for a few years now. Macs 4U is the one stop shop I trust and go too and refer my friend to as well.

As an elderly computer Idiot ,have never looked back since I purchased Mac Mini from Mac-4-u – Service is great , price for help very reasonable and would never go back to Microsoft. Problems with IMAC – I talked to the customer service about a problem with a imac that i had purchased with them. and they wanted me to send in the computer on my dime and then check it out then send me a bill to replace a possible hard drive problem(fusion Drive) it was out of warranty but was not taken out of the box, till 6 months ago. with pro tools ever, thats what I use it for. They are all about the money and not even workable about a discount on another computer. Bad Business, I will never use them again.

Cheap and functional Macs – Unless you want the latest and greatest model available, have the money and/or require real grunt for hardware intensive applications, them Macs 4 U may not be for you. trusty iMacs in the home office. They are old 2011 + machines but with an SSD upgrade and some extra RAM, the refurbed Macs does the job very well for a fraction of the price new. If you aren't a Mac snob or need to impress someone, then this is the store to check out.

Repaired Apple Mac – I was advised to go to this shop by someone at work as the Apple shop is closed. Overcharging for work thats covered under warranty – MACS - 4U did computer repair work that was inferior. I then went to apple mac STORE IN perth who told me all the work is covered under the apple mac warranty and to my disgust Macs - 4U charged me for work that's covered under apple mac warranty.

Very helpful and professional – I was referred to Macs-4-u with a laptop which had been zapped with a surge of power. This happened one week after the warranty ran out. They were extremely helpful, advised me on the procedure, sent the computer to an authorized Mac repair shop, it is now up and running.

Macs-4-u upon my return who were able to diagnose the problem, repair and salvage all of the data from the old failing HD and had available for collection the next day. I am a happy customer who will continue to use the Midland shop for all of my Mac needs.

Same as another poster – We have now purchased 2 refurbished Macs from this company, totaling somewhere near $2000. updated some hardware for $100. I'm pretty sure that the "new" cord they sent back was the old cord, or one just as bad. It never worked correctly. Strike Two. Then, the second computer we bought as a high school graduation gift for our daughter. It worked fine...for 5 months. We had to put a new $200 hard drive in it. Strike Three. This is more than an isolated incident. This is a pattern of a business that lacks integrity

Mac Mini for data. The Apple Photo program has quite some depth and the free training offered by Macs4U has been helpful to learn and benefit from the features of the software. The staff have been courteous, professional and knowledgeable with all of my dealings over the past few years.

Macs 4u aren't authorised to repair Macs – Well every time I write a review MACS4U pull it down. MACS4U are a dishonest Apple mac computer repairer, who are not authorised to repair apple mac computers. I paid for repairs at MACS4U which were free and under warranty with Apple Mac in Perth.
