THE BEST VALUE 4K 65" TV ON THE AUSSIE MARKET !!!!!!! JUST BRILLIANT – Just purchased this TV and WOW !!!! We've only had it 24 hours now however for what use it's had thus far, we love it ! This is an LG in disguise.… Read more
Same mounts, same mounting system yet with the LG badge, you're paying over $1,300 odd !
On initial setup, the picture is awesome - I would say a solid 9 out of 10, brilliant ! We hunted around for a new TV, 1st one in over 15 years, and whilst there's a flurry of the big brands on the market, we didn't want to spend a couple of grand on one. So after hunting online and checking out many other reviews, we went and looked at this one. It wasn't setup on display as such, smaller ones were, but based on the picture quality of the smaller ones, we went with the 65". To say the least, we're blown away with it's picture quality.
And what's interesting is when you switch it on initially and go through the setup stages, it's all LG agreements, T&C's etc ... so I don't care what anyone says, this is a rebadged LG. Or are LG the upmarket brand of AIWA - was funny when LG launched onto the market years ago completely out of nowhere and just overnight ... hmmmmm
Anyway, I can highly recommend this TV - OUTSTANDING value for money for a 65" screen. We used our Woolworths rewards points so we were out of pocket by only $280 ! Bloody awesome, thank you Woolies. Can't wait 'till the weekend to give it a real test drive with some Blu-ray movies and some PS5 gaming ! Industry standard 12 month warranty too so lets see how it goes long term.

After owning fir a few months I think its time I gave a review. The tv comes with the LG operating system. HubOS. While the picture is ok the tv is… Read more
very slow. Often runs out of memory forcing app to restart without warning. The inbuilt LG channels are slow to boot and some channels have the most annoying music inbetween where advertising would normally play. App store is extremely small. NVIDIA games wont play without paid subscription. I will be buying an android stick to use via hdmi rather than put up with a lazy OS. 4gb ram for a tv in this age is ridiculous especially when apps draw so much memory leading to an app reboot. Sound is ok, not great. Better to run it through a sound bar. Bluetooth speaker lag is apparent too meaning voice is out of synch with picture. The tv has frozen five times leading to pulling plug to get it to reboot. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this tv. It might be ok with android. The lg OS is just too slow. Edit 16 jan 2025. The tv keeps reverting back to headphones when none are plugged in. I think its time I return it. Edit 13 Feb 2026. TV is developing bright areas across bottom and top about an inch wide. I think its time I return it.
Do not buy for your kids, or anyone in your family for that matter! I bought the “Blue Pony” (AW-BPNY) variant of this tablet for my mum as a… Read more
Christmas gift in 2024; at first it ran good, but after a couple of months it started glitching out occasionally and at about the 6 month mark needed a factory reset, after that it would just cut out and make the most horrible noises if you used certain apps for too long… I imagine this would absolutely terrorise a child! Now it won’t even turn on.
It always ran quite hot even under light load; taking the flip cover off didn’t help. I suspect all that heat slowly cooked the processor over the space of about 18 months. Battery life was also poor, again, that could have partly been heat related.
The tablet itself is a good idea on paper; it comes with some sort of optional “kids mode” and does look cool, but the execution, build quality and longevity could be a lot better.
