entire house which was a wreck. The floor boards pulled up and replaced with cheap broken board with holes throughout in the front bedroom, and other parts of the house, is another obvious example of the malicious damage caused. Yet Allianz treated me coldly despite the video walk through and close up photos- all time stamped. The front door lock broken and whole house left open for days after the tenant left, not even secured by the agent who hid the damage for she knew it would reflect on her. Allianz refused this obviously strong claim. Pure evil!! patio roof to be blown away. Allianz came and inspected. They originally accepted my claim and approved the cash settlement. Only one day later, they rejected my claim based on wear and tear. What a joke! They tried to find all excuses to reject your claim; the policy you purchased is not worth a cent. Claim assessors need to meet KPI to reject as many claims as possible. I paid my insurance for 10 years. Only made one claim due to storm and rejected. I cancelled all my policies with Allianz after that, not worth spending your money on
Allianz are the biggest bunch of scum bags around. Years of paying $100s of thousands of dollars in premiums and when they are required, they squirm out of liability on a technicality. Lying pieces of garbage. Do not support this disgusting company.

multiple policies with Allianz and am seriously reconsidering. After commencing work full time and look after my families financial future, I proceeded to amend my life insurance to include permanently unable to work.
I spent well over an hour on the phone awnsering all the questions and was denied based on my mental health history. I have been on medication to manage this for decades, see a psychologist regularly so I would consider myself relatively low risk as it is well managed.
I did some reading after this and Beyond Blue's Mental Health and Life Insurance Fact Sheet states "it is also unlawful under the Disability Discrimination Act for insurers to deny applications for insurance without having reasonable and relevant information and data to support their decision. Today, insurers have access to extensive medical information and very few applicants are turned down. product, its benefits and any limitations."
The decision that was made was based on vague questions that did not at all accurately represent my current mental health situation. I am deeply disappointed that a company we have been with for years has discriminated against me for my mental health.

through ANZ is entitled automatically to a range of insurance if the card is used to make the purchase. We are trying to make a claim for extended warranty on a product - as stated in the information brochure (pds) supplied by ANZ. After 45 mins on the phone and 3 disconnections with Allianz we were told "I've worked here 18 years and I've never heard of that insurance"! Well speak to ANZ - they confirmed over the phone it was available and they'd never heard of a knockback on a claim. They even gave the link to the claim form to us. Either your long term staff are of properly trained or you are being taken for a ride by ANZ claiming you underwrite this service. Either way it is causing us stress and we will not be likely to ever voluntarily use Allianz in the future. Please communicate with the ANZ immediately to sort this out. I have the brochure in front of me that clearly says The Insurer is: Allianz Australia Insurance Limited ABN 15 000 122 850, AFSL 234708 of 2 Market Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
