I suggest the contact staff be trained to listen to the customer instead of making the assumption a number of times that I had made the mistake. I persisted for the benefit of Audible, but no apology or acknowledgement until I demanded one.

I acknowledge that Audible allowed me to return the faulty audiobook.

Book prices seem to be the same, and the Kindle and Kobo are otherwise very similar. The Kobo has two advantages: 1) It is not owned and controlled by Amazon. 2) Unlike the Kindle, the Kobo allows me to borrow ebooks from my local library. fits nicely in my hands and the buttons to change pages its great . I thought it would be too small but i find its an excellent size. You can also change them around in settings. I have the app on my phone and it syncs well. I have purchased a cover just in case and if fits nicely and does not stop the great feel of the kindle . The dark setting is great at night it does not annoy your partner in bed if you like reading and they want to go to sleep. The battery life is good i only charge about once a week. Im trialling the Kindle unlimited free for the first couple of months and its been great. I am reading authors that i never had looked at before and have really enjoyed the suggestions of the new authors. I have saved so much money not having to purchase books as i have been ready so much more. You can also see your data how long till end of the chapter, where you are in the book. Also their is a dictionary to assist when you are reading so thats helpful..

most are B grade flops or cult classics from the other side of the world and the USA but when live sport is on in Victoria, Australia it struggles. It works good on tv show or series, but once you want live sport it crashes, it has nothing to do with the internet, this is on 7plus live AFL, cricket, NFL it says retry or exit. You do either of these things and it does not work. So no live sport event/ game for that day. The other TV channels apps 9, 2 sbs, 10 apps do the same thing so it feels like it is build for the USA and maybe it should be checked in each state of Australia before the upgrade comes in a couple of years time

Unresponsive and unfixable and I went through all the forums trying trying. It lasted less than 12 months. So I just put the new one in I had in a cupboard and it lasted one month. It died. Completely unresponsive no lights cannot reset it's dead. Fortunately they were only AU $29 each. I'm writing this review because I figure if I was to buy any echo product or any Amazon Alexa product I'd want to check the reviews here first. I didn't in this case, My bad. Of course both were out of their (limited) warranty when they failed. They make a version 2 now, however a phone with the Alexa app on it and Bluetooth to your radio and you've got exactly the same as superfluous auto echo hardware. Why they even manufactured these I have no idea.

fortune buying E - Books that I now cannot read unless I purchase another Kindle which I would not.

I’ve been duck-shoved between Amazon Australia and Amazon in the USA without an offer to replace the device. My last Kindle was only 4 months out of warranty but Amazon refused to replace it!

This product is not fit for purpose and I will never deal with Amazon again.
