I agree that the new style gloves are rubbish. I have used Ansell Suoer glove for as long as I a remember as have my three daughters but will have to find another brand. Any suggestions?

Nightmare… two visits to GP for infection, burning and discharge. Two lots of antibiotics. Awful red raw rash. Never again.

Tough robust rubber glove capable of multiple uses – The gloves are sufficiently robust for multiple use. XL size was comfortable for my large hand size (105 mm across the palm). They did not… Read more

disintegrate on contact with lacquer thinners, Turps, Acetone, paint, brake fluid, petrol, grease, lube oil and silicon sealant (both neutral and acetic cure). They also don't easily tear when using tools when dismantling or reassembling. I've used them for painting (solvent based), engine part de-greasing and fibre glassing. They're tough / they're great!!

Weak! – Horrible product! They get holes in them so easily that I had to keep changing them constantly. I was using them in the kitchen during food prep, so… Read more

it's not like I was weeding a garden with food handling gloves. When used as designed they fall way short of being even remotely useful! Also once you remove them you need to wash the powdery residue off. Never buying them again, I'll give the 3/4 full box to my kids!

Lends meaning to the saying: Handy around the house – I’ll often use these gloves for different uses around the house – whether in the kitchen, the bathroom or while working on the car; the versatility… Read more

is great. The only real drawback I’ve had while using them is that occasionally they will start to wear and tear at the tips, although in most instances that has been while working on the car. They have been more resilient than other brands I’ve tried but of course this is reflected in the dearer price.

Not the glove length or functional performance as advertised – We specifically ordered these (very expensive) gloves to wear when washing freshly picked mangoes so the sap and sap-water in the buckets don't get… Read more

on our arms (causing allergic skin reactions). They are supposed to be 395mm (15.6") long and "feature an extra-long cuff to shield more of your arm, including a unique design to prevent roll-down". I call nonsense on both of these statements. I ordered the correct size so the gloves would fit my hand and come up to my elbow joint and apparently stay up there without folding down. However, I measured these gloves to be only 360mm about long when worn and there is no way in a pink fit that they naturally stay up your arm anywhere near that length. They just collapse back down the forearm to near the wrists again. I don't see any cuff design that would keep them up even on the thickest forearm. They seem to be made sturdy enough for the washing purpose but do NOT meet these particular advertised size/anti-roll features (which were specifically why we bought them). I have waaay cheaper stiffer dish-washing gloves that stay up better and use GladWrap to protect further up my forearms. Will be asking for a full refund via Amazon.
