DO NO BUY FROM BABYHOOD! We had a terrible experience buying a cot, the mattress and bamboo protector. Firstly when the items arrived, the mattress… Read more

(which was protected by a thin plastic cover was completely ripped all over, leading to terrible dirt all over the mattress cover.

As such, we asked for a replacement, as we did not think this was acceptable seeing as we paid over 300 dollars for the mattress and cover. Unfortunately, the company did not think this warranted a full replacement and only a replacement of the mattress cover. However, when we opened up the mattress cover we noticed it was stained in blood!

They assured us it was red chalk but I have attached a photo for anyone wanting to see. We were so disappointed by their communication and how they did not believe us.

That said, they did decide on giving us a replacement cover, however, they sent us wheels instead.

Now, it has been over a month and Babyhood are holding our replacement package hostage until we send a random person their wheels, we are not even sending it BACK to the company. Personally I find this a terrible breach of privacy as I now have the name and address of a random customer of Babyhood because they were to lazy to send this themselves, (in saying this, I have sent this customer his wheel but still no package has arrived for me)

At this stage, I think I wont receive a replacement mattress cover, and even after asking for a refund, the company is refusing to comply.

Good luck to whomever decides to buy from this company, you may have your address and details given to random people, or you may not get given your parcel at all.

Really disappointing cot. -Like others have said, the bassinet function is incredibly impractical. It’s simply too low. I recommend visualising… Read more

yourself lifting your own baby in and out of this bassinet before you buy it. - The mattress separates into three parts which is tiresome to change because it’s really hard to get the three parts to stay together. The mattress is also incredibly hard. You are limited to the babyhood sheet range because of the mattress shape. -We only used the cot setting. Once again, like others have said it doesn’t fit through a standard doorway so once it’s set up in the nursery, it cannot be wheeled out to the lounge room ect which we hoped to be able to do in the early stages. - We didn’t take the side off and use this cot as a toddler bed as intended, because it’s simply too small being an oval shape. So much wasted space. -I don’t normally write reviews but I’ve taken the time to write this one because my husband and I are very disappointed with this product, especially with the price point versus the quality/impractical nature of it.

I would give 0 stars if possible – DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR. IT IS UNSAFE. One of the two main supporting bolts (which are welded into place, on the left and right hand sides) sheared,… Read more

making the entire chair completely useless. All the weight of the user is placed on these bolts. We purchased it 3 years ago, after EXTREMELY limited use by people who weight COMFORTABLY under 80kgs, and only noticed this issue when getting it out to re-sell it. It is now utterly redundant. The most frustrating aspect of this is that if a regular nut/bot combo was used instead of welding, the chair would be fine. What a joke.

to me as I live in a suburb with narrow lanes. It’s also been helpful that we can take off the bassinet from the pram which means we don’t have to lift out and wake up baby to get him inside the house or restaurant

I am already in love with this beautiful blush ultimate change pad! Such a smooth, sleek design with a quality rubber material. This will be so easy to wipe down and keep clean between changes - and looks so groovy in the nursery!

We recently travelled with the Air Compact Stroller and were blown away by how seamlessly it fit into our on-the-go lifestyle. From the airport to… Read more

the airplane and everywhere in between, this pram made life so much easier. It stored effortlessly in the overhead compartment, making boarding and disembarking stress-free.

Our son comfortably napped every single day thanks to the flat-lay seat and generous sun-safe cover. Whether we were on a boat ride, walking through markets, or exploring beachside cliff paths, he was always snug and protected.

The one-hand open and close mechanism was a game changer, especially when juggling bags and a baby.

Not only is it incredibly practical, but it’s also a stylish choice—we had so many compliments on the latte colour!

Do not buy the Babyhood Pop-Up Playpen if your baby is mobile. It is marketed online and on packaging for infants and toddlers aged 6 to 36 months.… Read more

However, the moment a 6-10 month old baby naturally does what every baby this age does leans against the perimeter walls or pulls themselves up to stand the entire frame structurally buckles inward and tips, creating an immediate falling and entrapment hazard.

When contacted regarding this major safety failure under the Australian Consumer Law, Babyhood refused a refund. Their customer compliance team explicitly stated in writing: "The product is a pop-up design and is not designed to function as a rigid weight-bearing support structure for sustained leaning or pulling to stand... some flex or inward/outward movement of the panels is normal when pressure is applied."

To compare a containment play enclosure to a vehicle, their customer service team actually tried to argue that a baby leaning on a playpen wall is equivalent to a parent letting a baby sleep overnight in a pram, calling it an "alternate purpose" and user misuse.

By definition, the primary purpose of a baby playpen is to provide a safe, secure, and contained environment for an infant to play, rest, and safely practice crucial motor skills like pulling up to stand. Expecting a mobile child not to touch or lean on the walls of their own containment enclosure defies basic logic.

Babyhood will likely reply to this review with their standard script offering a "free inspection" to look for a manufacturing fault. Do not be fooled. An inspection is completely pointless because the item isn’t broken it is operating exactly how they intentionally designed it. The issue is the design itself. A baby/toddler containment structure that fundamentally cannot withstand a baby or toddler physically interacting with its boundaries is inherently unfit for purpose and unsafe.

Other reviewers on this platform have noted identical issues with the suction caps failing to stick, panels shifting drastically, and connectors breaking easily under minimal pressure.

Save your money, skip the corporate headaches, and buy a rigid wooden or heavy duty plastic playpen that actually keeps a mobile baby safe.

Swing provides that perfect, soothing environment. We love how it mimic’s the way in which you gently rock your baby from side to side with real timber frame with no EMF emissions from electronic devices to impede your baby’s development.

Safe for newborn to sleep in, with a unique laid flat option that has washable liners.

And our fav part is the hand-crafted real timber safari animal toys that hang overhead without too much stimulation. Leo started reaching out since 2 months to play with these toys and it’s part of our daily routine!

one side due to being stuck in place with double sided tape used to hold mechanism in place during manufacturing before it is screwed into place, as well as springs being stiff and corroded! had to disassemble peel off backing and replace springs, company claims to use “quality” materials but the construction is sub par at best. Will NEVER buy another product from Babyhood

Great cot - use from birth – We’ve used this cot for our daughter for three months since birth. It fits through doorways in our house and is easy to move around on the wheels. We… Read more

have it up next to the bed at night and then move it easily to another part of our bedroom for day sleeps. We chose this as we don’t have a lot of space and didn’t want to have a bassinet and a cot. We also wanted the cot to be up away from the floor for warmth and away from our large dog.

The only issues I’ve noticed with this cot, it’s hard to find any fitted mattress protectors or sheets so we’ve had to have them made/altered. We haven’t used the drop side much yet as have just our daughter in the cot with it down as she can’t roll yet and there is sufficient barrier with the side down.

European Beechwood Timber and can evolve between 5 different modes to grow with my little one over the years. I've currently built it as a circle bassinet and when my baby is big enough I look forward to extending it out to the oval cot size next. The clear panels are a game changer, I love that I can see into the bassinet from across the room and have an unobstructed view of baby. It's the most aesthetic, stunning design and makes my nursery feel so stylish. The Babyhood team have been truly amazing and were so responsive, helping me with every step of my purchase via email. Thank you Babyhood!!

unzipped part of the cover (which had large areas of stitching that had come undone before it had even been unpacked). There I found obvious fungal growth. In my opinion, this is dangerous, especially for newborns without fully developed immune systems. Babyhood makes claims about allergies and avoiding 'dangerous' foam in the product description on the website, but at the factory it is obviously a different story.

Our baby sleeps soundly in this cot every night, and we feel great knowing we've chosen a product that offers both comfort and security. It's definitely a long-term investment for any parent.

extremely hard to assemble and the mesh/fabric is so cheaply made, it tears so easily. The poles don't stay inside the pocket inserts. I would have to adjust it multiple times a day until 1 day I got this shocking pain through my fingers. I realised the poles or the fabric was letting our fiber splinters. They were inside all my fingers and the palm of my hands and my almost 2 year olds fingers too, who was screaming from the pain. I ended up disposing of the item because I couldn't handle picking out anymore of the splinters from mine and my childs fingers. I would not recommend this item and would never purchase it again.
