Bamix red Swissline 200W 76092plus. Replacement for 30 year old Bamix. All good so far. Not sure about the soft touch press button. I liked the old… Read more

fashioned wheel select speed. Nothing in quick use guide about soft button use, maybe in downloadable manual? This download manual also has how to oil Bamix instructions included.

Please re-open city store for purchase/support, I would have liked to have seen product in store.

Top notch crafstmanship, immensely powerful, and has replaced three other big appliances – What led me to this point is starting to make my own hummus. I had one of those processor/blender combos with the single motor for both, and both of… Read more

them produced very sub-par results. Then I tried a low-end stick blender that I'd had passed on to me during someone's house clean out. Results much better, but still not quite the power I needed - chickpeas are dense even when cooked and need loads of power to puree through them cleanly.

Then the penny drooped that what I have occupying precious cupboard space are a useless old and small multipro and low-end stick blender, none of which really had any power in them

The penny then dropped that instead of all those space wasters, I can have one powerful appliance that can do all of of their jobs and then some I'd never even thought of.

Took one look at the Gastro series of Bamix and the biggest dilemma was which one: the 200, or 350.

I got the 350 even though I was at first a bit apprehensive about how enormous it looks, but it's been a delight to use, and very manoeuvrable.

The power in it is nothing short of astonishing. I had frozen about a kilo of overripe bananas and it managed to chow its way through them to make a banana & coconut milk icecream.

It takes seconds to complete pureeing, emulsifying, crushing, blending, chopping, you name it it does it.

One very happy home cook here with loads of deliciously creamy hummus here.

Unbelievable! – My Bamix just died. I've had it for 37 years! Never a glitch. It is expensive, no doubt, but 37 years!!! Model was M122, made in Switzerland. A bit… Read more

heavy but you can "feel" the quality. FYI it died because I was blending a very thick paste (soaked grains) for too long.

Very poor quality and backup – After 15 years of faithful service from a Braun stick blender that cost under $100 dollars I thought i would lash out and purchase what was… Read more

supposedly the best available......Bamix.

The unit broke the mini blender attachment after only a few months and we figured we didn't use it that often and as such wasn't worth fixing.

Now the blender is 2.5 years old and smoke started pouring out of it making a smoothie. I rang Bamix and was told to take it to a service centre where they advised me it would be $35 dollars to look at it and then depending on the problem possibly a further cost to repair it.

So I rang Bamix back and they told me they would pass on the issue to which I received a call from the CEO advising me that if I didn't pay the $35 there was nothing they could do!!!

This appliance barely gets used in our house and now it will be going in the bin!!!!!

Not fit for purpose!

Best Stick Blender I have owned – I have had my Bamix 140w stick blender for 10 years and it's still going strong. I also have the accessories including all 4 blades and the wet dry… Read more

processor. I use it often for chopping, whipping, emulsifying. The blender is so versatile. I highly recommend Bamix.

Horrendous, overpriced, useless – The worst kitchen appliance I have ever been unfortunate enough to spend a lot of money on. The mini food processor is appalling - it can’t make… Read more

hummus, whole chickpeas are left in the bottom after you madly jiggle the thing from side to side for ages to get it to blend, whereas my old kmart one would have finished it in 2 mins. Can’t blend a ripe avocado either, takes forever with you having to open the lid 5-6 times to scrape off the side, again large chunks remained which I just had to give up on and mash with a fork. The stick blender is also powerless too, half the banana left in the bottom of the jug many a times after making a small smoothie. And that’s a fresh one - don’t even bother trying with a frozen. So infuriating given the exorbitant price, in this instance money really doesn’t buy superior quality. If you just want something to make basic items as above (dips, smoothies, sauces etc) Better off sticking to your cheaper department store home brand options.
