We used Bellamy's for our first born successfully and decided to use it again for our second. We had no problems up until they changed the formula… Read more

just recently. Literally gave her the first bottle on the new formula and an hour later she's throwing up everywhere... Yeah, I think I'll bin the two other cans.

Edit: tried adding just 1 scoop of the new formula to the old formula (2 scoops old, 1 scoop new) and again, vommiting about an hour later. We have started to introduce another brand of formula instead, before we run out of our old can of Bellamy's, we have had no issues and will transition to this brand instead. Very sad, we were huge fans of Bellamy's!

greasy residue on the bottle, also love the scoop and the mix is so smooth. Babe also has no pain. It’s a win for me after trying 4 formulas already

Organic baby food – My one year old son just love this, we had this since he just started solid food. It’s organic so it’s healthy! The texture is pretty smooth and it… Read more

smells good. It is also very easy to prepare with simple instructions. I normally mix it with soup and diced meat, fish or vegetables.

Easy to prepare and great quality – My baby (5 months) will refuse every bottle (I've tried them all!) So when we got a spot at childcare I was stressing out how he was going to get… Read more

breastmilk. This product is a perfect solution, I pump the milk and he gets his milk intake via spoon mixed with this. Thank you!

Watch out for apple STALKS & SEEDS. Be very careful! – Over the past year, I have found apple stalks still connected on the apple piece. Stalks were on apple pieces in four different packets. I have also… Read more

found parts of seed in them too. There is no warning about stalks or seeds (or foreign objects) on the packet. I have contacted Bellamy’s on several occasions to get them to update the warning on the back of the packet so that parents are aware of the risk, but they haven’t. Please be very careful & do not hand the packet to child to eat. Inspect every piece! Unfortunately, I won’t be buying these anymore, not worth the risk for me.

Quality organic meals to have on hand at an excellent price... but would prefer jars! – Like most natural mums, I prefer to make my own food for Baby, but I nearly always have a couple of pouches of Bellamy's Organic Ready to Serve meals… Read more

just in case I'm too busy!

Pros

Great, smooth consistency of purees.

Pure, wholefood ingredients. No refined sugar

Convenient

Good size for a couple of small servings

Certified organic, free of nasties (fertilisers, pesticides and GMOs)

Really well priced, especially when they are on special. As a friend said, "I can't make an organic meal for my baby at that price!"

Australian company based in possibly the lushest and purest of our states, Tassie!

Cons

Some flavours, like Blueberry, Mango and Apple, are a little strong for Baby. I mix it with rice cereal or porridge. (Baby's favourite is Banana and Custard with Flaxseed, but that's not listed as an option here.)

Plastic packaging. Pouches are in fashion, yes, but they are not good for the environment. Would love it if these meals came in ever-recyclable glass jars.

Not all flavours are readily available at supermarkets. I have to place an order with Bellamy's directly at some point! :)
