paddle tails work great if can find one where the tail actually works but good luck with that usually only 1 in a bag of 8 works correctly. Tried to reach out to Gulp and Berkley the phone numbers are fake and if go to the web site waste of time . I will not ever buy Gulp or Berkley products ever again they just want to steal your hard earned money. Personally I'm so p*ssed with these crooks who obviously hate their customers that I'm going to contact The Department of CONSUMER AFFAIRS and file a formal complaint. Tired of getting ripped off anyone else having these problems should do the same . Gulp is pretty expensive bag of 8 almost 10.00 at Walmart I will just buy SALT WATER ASSIN BAITS FROM NOW ON F*** GULP AND BERKLEY. Here are the phone numbers that ring and ring no answer no recordings nothing 910 579-8850, 978-849-8850, 800-239-5539, 800-467-8439 . Customer satisfaction dosent matter to this company I have been using Berkley rods since I was 10 yrs old im done Berkley should be embarrassed to be associated with Gulp scammers is what they are . I fish everyday im retired so I spend tons of money on hunting and fishing fresh and salt water I'll be spending my money elsewhere from now on.Would suggest everyone else do the same cut their cash flow run them out of business they suck.

tackle shop told me about them and as a consequence I will not be buying anymore Sammy 65's. It's nice to buy a cheaper bream lure that works as well as the big names. Great lure. Great value. Good colour range. None
Biggest lure bang for buck – These Berkley lures would have to be the best bang for buck with the size lure you can buy! These things are huge! They are supposedly made from… Read more
polycarbonate, have a metal wire running the length of the lure wich makes up the hook and tow points and dive to some unbelievable depth.
I have a few of these lures in both the 3B's Monster and the Berkley Frenzy "Super Mungo" range which do more realistic colourations of large baitfish and including mullet and red / white styles which I like.
The hooks and rings are super sized and 4X strong - I find that they cast a mile due to their weight and would be a excellent substitute for those running Rapala's during the mackerel season. Tie one of these directly to some wire and troll it all day long - if its lost its a far cheaper option! There are some smaller offerings in the Frenzy range which suit the more estuarine situation - basically matching the hatch with larger baitfish when they run - these typically mullet with a Mullet pattern that is near identical to the fish!
I would also suggest these for those that cast off headlands for Jew during a wet spell when the water is running - these are a great loud lure and would run perfectly in dirty water flow. Larger lure for seriouse baitfish imitation, 4X string hooks / terminals and rings, nice baitfish representation, Super Mungo's have other paint scheme's available Some lures have bouyancy issues - some float and some dont...
