Usually only need the lowest heat setting and the massage function is great also. Best $89 I've spent for a long time!

intensity and easy to use. Great for all areas including the feet. very portable. Looks very similar to one that is advertised on internet.
Total waste of time – weight varies approximately 2.5 kg from weighing three times in a row with scales set on centre of a 600mm square tile. (round and round she goes and where she stops nobody knows.)
i bought these scales this morning, stepped on four times in 2 minutes and received 4 different readings with a 3kg variation.Rubbish

Leaves Huge Puddle of Water – I love the looks of this, however, each and every time I use this it leaves a huge puddle of water on my wooden table. I have to put a towel underneath it each time I use it.
Exceeded expectations and worth the pain – Owning this is like having your own neck masseuse at home - I woke up with pinched nerve in my neck and went straight to GoodGuys to buy the the… Read more
Beurer 4D neck massager. This thing did an amazing job as painful as it is. This can bruise the neck quite easily and found I had red marks after using it a few times in the same day.

of the active things that most of us just take for granted. We had been using a wheat bag, heated in the microwave, for relief. The heat provided by the wheat bag was sometimes too hot or too cool & the risk of fire, from overheating was always in the back of my mind. Recently, she was recounting that her mother, in Germany, used to have an electric heat pad, for her back pain & that she was very happy with it. A quick google soon revealed that there is a large selection of heat pads available in Australia. As she likes German brands, I settled on the Beurer HK Special Edition. It's size is just right for placement around the lower back, when sitting in a chair. Note that there are larger sizes & specially shaped pads (eg. for your neck) available, to suit your individual needs. The pad has 3 heat settings, she finds '2' suits most of the time. The pad has a built in timer that turns the pad off after about 90 minutes (this is a safety feature, to minimise the risk of overheating). The pad heats up very quickly. The pad can be used on any part of your body as the pad is soft & flexible enough to wrap around an arm, leg, shoulder etc. It can also be used, in bed, as a mini electric blanket if you get cold feet, or even under any part of your body that needs some heat. This is much safer than a hot water bottle, with no chance of getting burnt by hot water leakage. For hygiene, the pad is machine washable. I would recommend a heat pad to anyone who is looking for a better source of heat compared to a wheat bag or hot water bottle.
Super little humidifier – Purchased to stop my dry mouth problem at night. Not sure it did much good, although that’s not the fault of the unit. It’s a great little compact… Read more
unit and works perfectly. The blue light did annoy me but got over that by painting over the light with a dot of black paint.

me 2 minutes to unbox it and get started (on my reclining couch). I have a very physically demanding job and very occasionally splurge on a 60 or 90 minuet massage to relieve back tension. I have spent thousands of dollars on all sorts of massages including very expensive sports therapy sessions and honestly feel this product is the next best thing. The remote operation is a bit confusing at times, but the massage is pretty fantastic on any setting. I’m 5”10 and it massages from my lower back to my upper skull. If you like a light relaxing massage, this is probably not for you. If you have a recliner and can handle the feeling of hot golf balls working your muscles, get it!

the pain and hopefully increase the range of movement of it as well. I looked for this device for a while and ended up having to wait a few months for it to come into stock before I finally got it. Unfortunately it is not a simple plug and play device as it is battery operated whereas another tens machine I purchased is rechargeable and this one actually requires you to wet the device and your leg/elbow before using it. And trust me, if you don't get the moisture content right it will definitely let you know. If you don't put enough moisture on it actually feels like it burns and depending on which of the 4 programs you use it can startle you as it will feel okay, then suddenly it kicks up a gear and you will certainly know about it. Another factor is that the pulse points are in a fixed position and there doesn't seem to be enough power to get to the areas on the sides of the knees where I tend to need to pulse. I haven't tried the Beurer Knee & Elbow Tens Therapy cuff on the elbow as I don't have an issue there (yet) so I can't comment on it's effectiveness in that area. Is the $99 worth it, well I have to say no especially after having to wait for it to come into stock and being under the impression that it would be better than the Tens machine that I had bought whilst waiting. Can it improve, definitely. Firstly, it should be a rechargeable device, the pads on it could be positioned better or be able to be moved (or actually have 3 or 4 on each row). I did give it 3 stars as it does an okay job and isn't bad but it could've been so much better.

carried it and directed me to the distributor. They refused to replace it. I provided them with the receipt showing the correct model designation and a picture of it. I also supplied a short vid showing showing the distinctive Beuer controller failing to work. The distributor claimed that when the link in the E-receipt was followed the retailer's website showed a Sunbeam unit. That obviously was a database error but one used by the distributor to wriggle out of the terms of their warranty and the guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
The distributor is Fitzone.
