I’ve been using the Bridgestone Turanza tires for several months now, and they have been one of the most comfortable touring tires I’ve owned. Most… Read more

of my driving consists of daily commuting, highway travel, and occasional weekend road trips, and the Turanza has performed consistently well in all of those situations.

The first thing I noticed after installing them was how quiet the ride became. Road noise was significantly reduced compared to my previous tires, making long highway drives much more relaxing. The tires absorb small bumps and imperfections in the road very well, giving the car a smooth and refined feel.

Wet-weather performance has also been impressive. During heavy rain, the tires maintained solid grip and stability, and I never felt uncomfortable driving at highway speeds. Steering response is predictable and confidence-inspiring, which is exactly what I want from a touring tire.

Another positive aspect has been tread wear. After thousands of miles, the tires still look great and have worn evenly. Fuel economy has remained consistent, and I haven't noticed any negative impact on efficiency.

While the Turanza is not designed as a high-performance sport tire, it strikes an excellent balance between comfort, handling, and durability. For drivers who prioritize a quiet ride, dependable traction, and long-term value, it is an outstanding choice.

Overall, my experience with the Bridgestone Turanza has been extremely positive. It delivers the comfort and reliability expected from a premium touring tire and has made everyday driving noticeably more enjoyable.

trying to take off and in the wet. Regret paying double the price for these over the cheap tyres that give the same if not better performance. Do not recommend!

I recently switched to Bridgestone Potenza tires, and the difference in driving performance was noticeable almost immediately. From the first few… Read more

miles, the tires provided excellent grip and responsiveness, making the car feel more connected to the road than before.

One of the standout qualities has been the handling. Whether navigating tight corners, highway ramps, or winding back roads, the Potenza tires inspire confidence with their strong traction and precise steering response. The vehicle feels stable and predictable, even during spirited driving. Braking performance has also been impressive, with shorter stopping distances and a reassuring sense of control in both dry and wet conditions.

Another pleasant surprise has been their performance in rainy weather. The tires channel water effectively, reducing the feeling of hydroplaning and maintaining good road contact during heavy downpours. This has made daily commuting much less stressful when conditions are less than ideal.

Despite being performance-oriented tires, ride comfort has remained quite reasonable. Road noise is present but not excessive, and the tires absorb minor road imperfections better than I expected. Long highway drives remain comfortable, while still delivering the sporty characteristics that make driving enjoyable.

Durability has also been satisfactory. After several months of regular use, the tread wear appears even, and the tires continue to perform consistently. Proper rotation and maintenance have helped maximize their lifespan while preserving their handling characteristics.

Overall, my experience with Bridgestone Potenza tires has been extremely positive. They offer an excellent balance of grip, steering precision, wet-weather confidence, and everyday usability. For drivers looking to enhance their vehicle's handling without sacrificing practicality, these tires are a strong choice and have made every drive more enjoyable.

return home and belt in tyre failed and can’t be repaired. Great tyres if you like replacing every year on low km.

Booked four tyres from this shop specifically to fit my aftermarket rims and had an in-person consultation beforehand. During that discussion, I… Read more

provided the exact hub-centric ring dimensions required for the install and made it clear that if the parts could not be sourced in time, the install could be postponed.

Even so, the job went ahead. The technicians removed my tyres, swapped the TPMS sensors, and mounted the new rims straight out of the box, only to discover at the end that the wheels could not be fitted without the hub-centric rings. This all occurred right before a long weekend, with the manager not on site. The install then had to be completely undone so I could get my car back, resulting in unnecessary handling of my wheels.

When my wheels were returned, they were already damaged. All four wheel boxes had foot marks on them, and the wheels themselves showed damage that was not present prior to the install, including marks near and on the machined lip. This reflects a clear lack of care when handling expensive aftermarket wheels. The manager later confirmed over the phone that this should not have happened.

While the receptionist was empathetic and did try to help, I did not appreciate being asked whether I had discussed this with the shop I purchased the wheels from. I had already provided the required information prior to the install, and it felt inappropriate to have responsibility shifted back onto me after such a significant error.

A resolution was discussed; they also offered to fix the damage they caused on my machined outer lip and tried to downplay the damage to the body of the wheel that gets covered by the tyres as normal, but in the end, this damage is visible. Based on everything that had already occurred and what was explained to me, I did not believe the proposed fix was worth pursuing, as it would have required handing the wheels back to the same team that had already committed the negligence. I was offered half-price TPMS sensors, which is laughably insufficient considering my $3,000 set of rims was damaged. Saving a couple of hundred dollars in sensors does nothing to address the mishandling or repair the damage, making the offer irrelevant.

I have since taken my car to another specialist workshop, where the wheels were installed without any issues or damage. I am left with damaged wheels, wasted time, additional transport costs, and the inconvenience of sourcing parts myself. Additionally, the manager hung up on me when I clearly stated I never wanted to hear from them again. This was unprofessional and unjustifiable; I was entirely in the right throughout the conversation.

On 11/10/2025, I purchased a full set of Bridgestone BR2256517HD470CR tyres from Bridgestone Biggera Waters. As a rideshare driver who spends five… Read more

days a week on the road, I specifically sought what I believed would be professional advice on the most suitable tyre for this type of work. I trusted the recommendation I was given.

While I only had the initial 10,000 km tyre rotation completed by Bridgestone, my own mechanic subsequently carried out two further rotations, balancing, and wheel alignments to ensure the tyres were maintained correctly.

These tyres were fitted when my vehicle's odometer reading was 249,648 km. I was shocked when, during a recent service, my mechanic called to advise that three tyres were already at the minimum legal tread depth and the fourth was very close. My current odometer reading is 284,434 km, meaning these tyres have lasted less than 35,000 km.

I believe most people would agree that this is an appalling lifespan for a set of tyres that were specifically recommended for a high-mileage rideshare vehicle.

I am not someone who enjoys confrontation, especially given my previous experience with this business. I had taken my vehicle to them to investigate a persistent squealing noise. I was advised that the brake pads fitted elsewhere only two months earlier were of poor quality and that I should replace them with their supposedly superior Brembo Disc Pad Set Nao Ceramic pads, which I did.

Unfortunately, the squealing noise remained. I was then told the issue was likely the wheel bearings. Seeking a second opinion, I took the vehicle elsewhere and discovered the actual cause was a cover plate rubbing on an aluminium differential housing near the tailshaft connection.

Based on my experiences with both the tyre recommendation and the misdiagnosis of the squealing issue, my advice to anyone considering this business is simple:

Australia. Very disappointed with the tyres and with Jax for recommending a sub-par replacement. Comfort is just ok, handling is ok wet and dry - but wear is atrocious! 35,000 km of mostly highway driving (no towing) and they are ready to be replaced.

Solid choice smooth ride, great grip in both wet and dry conditions, and noticeably better fuel efficiency. It’s quiet on the road and feels really reliable for everyday driving.

Best tyre – These tyres are phenomenal. 190k on my first set and I'm on 320k now with plenty of tread on my second set still.. Such a shame they stopped making them now..

but in any wet conditions there is simply no traction. It's actually amazing that they can be so bad while being made of rubber. It feels like you're driving on hard plastic.

reasonably well for a family car. My set lasted about 36,000kms. It's performance is not as great as Pirelli Cinturato P1 and Hankook Optimo K415 and more expensive than the later two tyres.

superior traction even in wet conditions. Great in breaking conditions also. Even distribution of wear on tyres. Have since replaced with a set of Michelin's due to no availability of these tyres at 37k only due to puncture and wasn't aware so the side wall had collapsed. Decided to replace all 4 with the Michelin's and I am extremely unhappy with their performance and handling.

The Duvaris really held up well in all weather conditions and fantastic stability even in strong winds. I drive approximately 2 to 3 K per week highway & City driving with passengers and the Michelin are no match for these tyres when it comes to holding the road firmly and stable and providing a comfortable ride

Definitely give these a 5 thumbs up when it comes to all over performance.
