function properly so I had a close look at it. The two halves of the plastic body had separated by about 2 mm. Had a close look at its matching salt grinder to find, very disappointingly, that the same thing had happened to it as well. Neither has been subjected to any abuse, not dropped, not left exposed to sunlight, living a nice protected life on the pantry shelf. Now only fit for the rubbish bin.

into about 6 years now and the ceramic outer hasn't chipped - looks like new. The inner green plastic bin is still there, though a bit stained now, but no cracks etc I use it daily and change filter about 6 monthly. Can highly recommend for kitchen bench-top. Lasting well.
Very useful, but the cord broke – I loved this chopper and found it very useful, especially when making freezer batches of food that required lots of chopping, but the cord broke after about 15 or 20 uses so it ended up in the bin

fill it 2 at a time. The plastic handle broke after 2 days. It was expensive too. I paid over $20 each. I will not recommend them unless they are my enemies. It looks cute broke useless doesn't grind evenly.
