I bought this large pan specifically for making schnitzel. With a family to feed, I wanted something big enough to cook an entire batch at once… Read more
instead of standing at the stove doing multiple rounds in a small pan. The kids have schnitzel for dinner and leftovers for lunch over the next couple of days, so I decided to splurge when this pan went on sale.
The pan is heavy, non-stick, and wasn’t cheap, even discounted. I expected it to save time and last for years. Unfortunately, I was very wrong.
After only 4–5 uses, the non-stick surface started deteriorating and food began sticking. I contacted Circulon, not to make a warranty claim, but simply to ask why this had happened and whether there was anything I could do to prevent it getting worse.
The response I received was a generic copy-and-paste email stating that the damage was not covered under warranty because the pan had been used on high heat for too long. The problem is that I cook schnitzel on the lowest setting and, yes, it may be on the stove for 50–60 minutes while I cook a large batch. Isn’t that exactly what a frying pan is designed for?
What disappointed me most wasn’t even the pan itself, it was the customer service. I wasn’t demanding a replacement or asking for a refund. I simply wanted some assistance and advice. Instead, I was immediately shut down with a warranty response that didn’t address my questions at all.
For a premium-priced product: brand I expected much better durability and much better customer support.
I put it in the big to increase waste. Dont bother with this brand, get better pan in Kmart.
I purchased one of these in November 2025 after throwing away saucepan after saucepan. It came highly recommended from a family member. I was… Read more
excited to get my hands on it. The pan was fantastic, great to handle, nice weight, easy to clean and durable.
However a couple of months ago the non stick surface...stopped being non stick.
I cook eggs, pasta sauces, curries - the usual daily meals on this saucepan. Nothing fancy or extreme.
I made a warranty claim as the pitch on this saucepan was so strong, I was sure the company would stand behind it's product, surely this must be a defective pan.
Unfortunately not.
I had a few tiresome back and forths and some boilerplate responses that avoided definitively stating the reason for failure.
The premise was evidence of excess heat damage "can" or "may" make the non stick fail and therefore excludes the pan from a warranty claim.
I pushed back finally was offered to have the pan inspected the Circulon.
They inspected the pan and claimed surprise, surprise - it had excess heat damage - referring to the slight discoloration you get building up on the bottom of your pan as the smoking gun.
Ironically they cleaned half of the bottom of the pan (who cleans half of something?) - almost back to new - which I did not think was possible with permanent damage - then sent it back to me and rejected the claim.
Long story short, this company does not stand behind it's products.
The sales pitch is hollow and their product is a flop. Move along and find something that might.

It makes sense that they don't have a Google Maps listing with the quality of their products and service. I used this casserole pan once, cooking on… Read more
low and being very careful to take care of it, washing with a cloth etc due to wanting to take care of the new pan.
The non-stick wore off after this one wash and so I go ok, it's made in Thailand, I'll contact customer service.
The support asked for 5 specific photos plus receipt copies, warranty copies and so many copies to make it as hard as possible for me.
I provided these and they came back saying the damage looks like it's oil. I need to rewash the pan 3 times a very specific way, then take photos again. It took most of a morning but I did that with obviously no change, to which they came back and said yes they refuse a return and I just need to clean it with white vinegar now and it'll be fine. I'm not damaging it further using white vinegar, so I thanked them and said this refusal was enough to dispute the credit card transaction.
They tried to prevent this by then offering a return of the full order (I can't return the item on it's own, I need to include the items that have been fine so far). I also need to pay for shipping to send poorly manufactured items back.
I don't usually come to this website, but after this experience and stealing my money, I had to share it somewhere!
Don't buy circulon origin frypan – Very disappointing to see that it faded in less than 2 months of use. Contact the customer service and they said it is because of overheating. The 12 months manufacturer warranty is just a scam.
My 7yo Spring Form Pan is so good, I bought another plus more bakeware – I bought a Circulon Spring form pan and a square tin some seven years ago from Peter's of Kesnsington in Sydney as they felt solid and the non-stick… Read more
coating seemed really good. As reviewer DJP says, the Corculon bakeware is sturdy, strong and easy to wash. After many, many cakes my 2 original tins still look brand new. The 1/2 cm lip on the base of the Spring form pan does interefere with sliding a cake off, but this is overcome if you lay a sheet of baking paper over the base before clipping the side on.
I have been looking for more Circulon bakeware, so when I saw them at Harris Scarfe in Adelaide, I bought more - another Spring form tin, a loaf pan, a rectangle tin and ordered two 12-hole muffin tins.
