1. The adhesive on the back is absolutely useless, it won't stick onto any surface I could find. I put a layer of blutac on the back and that's kept them up on the wall. 2. The ants generally will come out of hiding to look for the scent from the strips. Sometimes they find it, sometimes they wander around it. When they do get to it, they absolutely love the bait. My problem is, they seem to be eating the poison and either not taking it back to the colony, or it kills them too fast as I'll find dead ants around the bait. 3. The second packet I opened had leaked and every single bait was sticky all over. I do think this might have made it easier for the ants to find, but it still adds to the unpleasant experience. 4. I don't know if it's because the stock is old, (I bought mine from Coles on two separate occasions and the date of manufacturing listed on the back is over two years ago from when I bought it on both) but it's a little inconsistent: the bait was clearer on some and a lot more yellowy on one?
Either way I'm still dealing with ants 3 weeks on and it hasn't done much to prevent them from coming back. Not happy.

it said up to 9 months protection on the front. Heaps better than changing these things over every 3 months. Get it home and on the back it says change them every 3 months. Up to 9 months is using all 3 supplied over that time. Maybe my bad but think it is very misleading advertising.
I was also concerned about the lavender smell and turns out I was right. It's horrible, barely lavender and extremely strong. I've had to wash a number of garments as the smell stuck to them and left me smelling it all day while wearing them.
Can't comment on how effective they are but opened a box of 4 and 1 bait is completely missing the gel sealed capsule. Doesn't say much for product control and quality standards.
