batteries, stopping the app, turning Bluetooth on and off etc. I may have got a bad one but I don't recommend it and don't want to go back to Myer to return it. It seems to weigh correctly though.

a local Big W store for $49. The packaging was good and mostly recyclable. The design seems to be good. It can operate in two modes. Weight only, which is operated by just stepping onto the scale. Body analysis, which is operated by previously inputting your body age, height and gender into the scale's memory. However, when you step onto the scale, you have to press the 'user' button with your toe to activate the analysis mode properly. The display is a back lit liquid crystal one. My only gripes are 1) while the weight display is large and easily seen, the calculated results of body fat% / body water % / BMI and bone mass % are relatively small. 2) other information that appears in the display aren't explained in the instruction manual i.e what appears to be a goal weight and a difference from the weight displayed at the previous use of the scale. 3) My old scale allowed for 10 individuals to be entered into the memory. This model only allows for four individual data entries. 4) When displaying all of the calculated data, the display time is relatively short before it turns off. So you have to be quick if you want to write anything down. 5) There doesn't appear to be any capacity for recalling previously stored data. I suppose that this is to reduce costs of production, but I would have thought that it would be a good idea to have this. 6) Despite the use of the word 'smart' on the box etc, there is nothing smart about it. If you want a 'smart' body analysis scale, then Bunnings have them but they cost a bit more and you link it to your mobile telephone via an app.
On the plus side, the scale comes with a quite good operator manual with some reasonable guides on how to use the scale to best advantage and tips on how to lose weight. The unit can be re-calibrated when required and stored profiles can be erased if needed. Instructions on inputting individual data are easy to understand and the actual process is quite simple. The scale is battery powered only, requires three AAA batteries (supplied). It also comes with a 'limited' ten year warranty. The scale is built by Conair.
Great while it lasted – It was fine until the 12 month mark when the light stopped working. With no way to repair it, it is now virtually useless. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this mirror.
Terrible – They were a present from my daughterabout a year ago. Now (after putting in new batteries) I get different weights from one minute to the next. Would not recommend them.
