between this and the Breville. The Breville seemed too long but the Cuisinart Gourmet Pro won my heart, it's just right in Size! I'm still on my L Plates using this but so far so good, toasts great, steams rice perfect. Made Muffins/cupcakes and cooked in about 10mins on convection WoW! Roast port crackling came out great too!(can never get this in out big electric oven) Love the outside that doesn't get too hot, neither does the door handle. Opening the door ajar first is a good tip especially when using any of the steam functions. Also made two small quiches cooked again on convection in 12min. Love the steam clean function, its takes approx 45mins, but I put this on whilst eating dinner, then wipe the oven out with a damp clean microfibre cloth, pretty easy! So far So Good, time will tell. **Even after purchasing a Faulty one and returning it after 2 days, I did get Great Customer Service from Harvey Norman Broadmeadows and Thomastown it was exchanged it without fuss. In completion, I do recommend this Cuisinart appliance so far, so good!

good for long slow steam cooking – One could say this is a piece of crap. BUT look at the price. It's small economical on bench space. My home one is used say 5 out of 7 days. I have a… Read more

second one in my van, no not an RV just a medium small liver. It's tiny size is a great boon.

For those complaining of alge in water tank, keep the light off it. Use a rag or put something square up against it.

Water in door?? Funny mine came with a flappy piece of paper informing that would happen, Try non steam roast setting 230°C set to any time you want and walk away. If you do this while it's still hot just a few minutes. Works excellently. (for that). I've done this every so often and it still sparkles. 3 years so far. Also helps the rust issue. Finally after a cook, leave the door ajar to first detent to help it dry.

It grills pretty good but one needs to juggle the rack height, Crazy stepped oven rack does not offer many choices as the height is dead center of the rails, meaning it's the same either way. -Dumb!

The timer is limited to 2 hours' If used for a 12 hour 60°C cook = pain, also one needs to empty the microscopic catch can about every 1/2hour never the less water still ends up on the bench. Yes the drain is clean and open. On this point I see that there is not many ovens that stream and heat (cook) at the same time. This one does. Puts it way ahead in my book.

The little book shows precious little technical uses. Have to learn by trial and error. Some issues. Internal rusting. flimsy racks. Odd size preventing one using a sturdier oven rack inside. I use a 9" square x 2" baking tray quite successfully.

For what it's worth ,we have install one of these in the kitchen of aged care to reheat prepared meals. 2 Years in and still OK. Sure beats nuking in the dreaded micro. Residents now actually eat the heated meals.

It's asian built just to offer a product range. I don't believe it was intended to //really// work or be used seriously. But it does so please don't tell them or it will be discontinued.

Any way what would I know , I'm just a bloke.

Good and bad – Purchased this couple of weeks ago, some good and bad points. Relatively quiet, easy to use and clean afterwards. But it leaves a reasonable layer of… Read more

product all around the bowl that you can't scrap off because it's stuck to the frozen bowl so without scratching the crap out of it you end up wasting food really, not until the bowl has thawed that the product comes away, so that's a negative. I have tried many dairy free recipes variations but they come out icy in this machine so it's ok but definitely not a 5 star.

Good tasting grill – I bought a portable grill from TK Maxx and it works well for a charcoal kebab or patty.

It does what it’s supposed to do – This appliance is awesome. I’ve had it for 19 years and it’s still going really well. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. My main dish I make in it is stroganoff, with a cheaper meat and it comes out tender.

BUYER BEWARE - MACHINE NOT AS PROMOTED/EXPECTED! – I purchased this product based on information provided on websites + also based on product packaging information. Essentially, the marketing claims… Read more

it does certain things and omits key information, not allowing you to make an informed purchase decision.

By all means, the home made ice-cream tastes great (this is the only reason I don't give a 1 star rating). But it would taste just as great in a cheap ALDI knock off version or in the Ninja or any other ice-cream maker. The reason for a customer purchasing the Cuisinart is because of the alleged commercial quality manufacturing features & ease of making "batch after batch" without the need to pre-freeze bowls. It is promoted as churning "perfect consistency", yet this is an utter lie because once you've paid for the product and opened up the recipe guide, only at that point in time are you made aware the ice-cream making process is more complicated than described, takes far longer than you had planned for to get the consistency you're after and also requires fridge and freezer space (not just freezer space like with other brands) in order to get what you're after (and what you're after is the picture of the ice-cream in the cones on the product packaging).

Customer service is nothing to be desired, they basically just fob you off in any way they can and then argue points which they brought up with you to begin with, not points you were ever intending to talk about. They have no assurance to their customer to just 'stick with' the machine because I guess deep down they already know the machine doesn't do what it says it does, so they have no other customer service path, other than to fob you off.

The issue is the plates do not get hot enough and the meat is broiled and not browned (especially the top plate). So disappointed as it ticks many boxes.

times. The toaster function is simple, just flick switch down and the bread lowers, when toast is completed it automatically pops up with audible beeps alerting the user the toast is ready. If you require further toasting there is extra 30 sec timer. A removable tray at the bottom picks up any crumbs. As with any stainless cookware, cleaning is Moree frequent. But I wouldn't let that deter you. At time of writing I haven't faced any issues

Didn’t last long – I purchased my Cuisinart 35cm GreenGourmet Electric frypan several years ago from The Kitchen Warehouse. I liked the size of it and for the duration… Read more

of its life I was very happy with its performance. I liked the large rubber feet that protected it from scratching my bench top. The only downside is that it did not last long. I only got to use it about twenty times before it failed and stopped heating up. I had the cord tested and found it was not faulty so it’s now clear that the electric heating element failed.

I’m not happy that someone that cost so much did not last.

Solid non stick fry pan – I enjoy cooking curry and was looking for a sauté style fry pan with lid & preferably non-stick. After hours of researching I decided upon Cuisinart… Read more

30cm pan especially at the sale price of $100 Oct 23 & have used it quite a bit since purchase with the following results. The pan does have a bit of weight so it's not your thin aluminium style pan so your arm will get a little work out. The handles surprisingly don't get hot which is great especially when holding the pan to mixing/stir and of course removing from the heat source. I purchased the 30cm version therefore unlike cast iron pans equal dispersal of heat across the base doesn't happen here , I have heard of heat plates which can assist with this but for now its not a big issue. To-date I'm quite happy with the pan and seem to be of solid construction with quality teflon. However like most non-stick pans time will tell

Disappointing on induction cooker – Was ok on ceramic cooktop but after upgrading to induction am very disappointed. The pan doesn't sit flat and the base is only partially magnetic, so it is slow to warm up and won't get properly hot.

CPT-10A 4 slice toaster. Most toasters (including this one) are ridiculously over priced these days, I paid $140 including delivery. The toaster is neither fast, or slow. It toasts very evenly and consistently, it has 2 sets of controls for the 2 pairs of slots, there are no immediate signs of potential issues, and it is easy to use (it is a toaster after all). Hopefully this lasts for a long time.

This is a replacement for Cuisinart's original stick blender, which had a well-enclosed blade and an on button, worked brilliantly and was simple and… Read more

convenient to use. When that died with a worn-out shaft bearing, the new version happened to be 'on special' at $55. This new, 2-speed version has a less well enclosed blade, but a 2-button safety interlock, which prevents the user from pulsing the blender, and a quite separate speed switch. Since this device has to be used one-handed (the other hand steadying the container), the Cuisinart engineers have converted a very handy, functional device into something much more clumsy. However they do not seem to have rectified the design problem which caused the demise of our first blender - the inadequate bearing on the shaft on which the blade is mounted. The end which fits into the motor unit has quite a bit of side-to-side slop even new, implying that there is still only a bearing at the bottom end. That said, it certainly gives just as quick and good results as its predecessor, even though it is so much more fiddly to use.
