water to test the temperature. After 24hrs the yoghurt maker had only reached 32°c. I contacted the makers twice for their help. My emails were ignored. Fortunately I got a full refund from the place of purchase. I would definately NOT recommend this product. I've purchased a Luvelle maker which produces perfect l.reuteri.

not recyclable due to the plastic covering. The multiple soft plastic bags covering much of the product are polyethylene low density. In some countries and states, this soft plastic can be recycled however, in Western Australia are not able to be recycled. I find it disingenuous for a company to place the onus of recycling a product that isn't recyclable on the consumer.
Considering the research regarding the problematic nature of plastic, for our environment and the suggested hormonal modulation of plastic chemicals and their additives to human health, I believe it is high time for companies such as Davis and Waddell to change their packaging to a more sustainable product. Plenty of businesses, such as IKEA have already changed their packaging to cardboard and paper. It is doable and I will not be buying another Davis and Waddell product until changes are made in this area.

Meet mincer – This product was a disappointment it dose not mince like advertised.

need to do it slowly and steadily, so your sausages are regularly calibrated and you have very little left over meat in the pipe. At first the suction base seemed useless, but once I moistened the base and pushed on it while turning the lever, the suction was actually perfect. Price is excellent: $24 at Victoria Basement
Cons: A bit fiddly to clean properly, hand wash only. Made from aluminum (would prefer stainless steel). The crank handle is longer than the machine is high, so you need to put it on the edge of the table to be able to turn the handle.
