months that would make up its own mind to ignite. Hot water arrives at the shower, vanity and bath very quickly and as I am on tank water with little pre flow to waste. Very quiet operation. A blessing. Extremely happy. Great price from Bunnings with excellent service from them as well.

Plumbing Services were exceptional. The unit was installed and tested promptly. It operates smoothly and quietly without shortage of hot water during the family morning rush. I would strongly recommend DUX, as a perfect choice as the house hot water system. At the end it is the 5 star system.

this heat pump . No noise , used less power and the water temperature was much more constant. The Dux android app has no control of the heater ( or it appears not to have any control ) and is very basic. Try and set the temp and the heater ignores it , try to set hours of operation ( so the noise doesnt wake everyone late at night) and the heater ignores it . I am all for buying Australian made product but it needs to function properly. Looking back we will def go back to solar hot water

Victoria and an emergency call out, charge us $1100 for only 10 mins labour and they advice us gonna to be replacement a new one asap but lucky went ok since last year gas price soar and 2 months bill charge $1200+. Today, we have a new hot water tank a different brand with a better technology, save energy efficiency. Overall this product was very disappointed. We glad Dux finally RIP

Only lasted for 2 years before it started costing me money for repairs – Had this 250DPM36 unit for just over 2 years. Was good until the pump which circulates the water from the hot water tank to the solar panel failed.… Read more

The pump only has a 1 year warranty, so it cost me $319 to replace the pump. There is no way I will be doing this every 2 years. If it happens again I will be considering an alternative.

UPDATE: Dux have been in contact with me. They have agreed to cover the 2nd pump under the tank warranty, if it fails again. I do still however have to outlay the $319 now. They did state that they have only been using this brand of pump (Grundfos) for about 2 years, so will be interesting to see how many more start failing.

I will never buy a Dux again – My Dux Sunpro 305 Solar Water Heater leaked (frost valve) on it's second, forth, sixth, eight & tenth year. Each time this happened it cost me $400… Read more

to fix, plus a large water bill. Dux was not interested in finding out why this was happening. All they cared about was if the unit was still under warranty, and were very rude. The system has just sprung a huge leak 1 month after replacing the frost valve for the 5th time.

I have had enough and are now replacing it with a different brand.
