off. Seatbelt is all the wrong angles. Steering is difficult,spongy for parent and kid alike (when you change from parent steering to independent trike riding). Pedals too far away & the mechanism for pedalling is almost impossible for my 3 year old. My 6 year old (who rides a proper bike) tested it for me and she said it was really hard to pedal. No wonder my 3 year old had trouble. I wouldn’t be surprised at all this if it was cheap.

parts were also often misaligned and needed a bit of bending to get in place. One bike tube was punctured from the start. Valve stems were bent. Daughter likes the look though and particularly the basket.

them but drag them on the ground (they then get jammed between the ground and the pedals). As they get older the angle of the moving pedals are so far forward they it requires more strength than a young child can output so is of no use.

Our second son is now at an age to use this bike (assisted) but the straps just disintegrated and snapped. Went to try and get some more sent out but it seems this has a product recall where it is not safe for kids under 18months. I explained to the Customer Services Manager that our second son is only 12months old and as they get older it's no good. They were happy for me to go back to the retailer where they will wear the cost but they have now gone into receivership. They weren't prepared to help out except send out some new straps but these are now irrelevant to me as it's no longer recommended for kids under 18months - which is why we originally purchased it.

Definitely look elsewhere for a trike for a young one.
